Cargraphic Valve Control Unit (992 GT3 Variant)

I agree. The roar with the valves open is a stark contrast with them closed. Especially at start up when the RPMs are higher. I need to have the option to close them when I’m trying to sneak out of the house.
If I leave them open in the garage upon startup it rattles the house.

I'm fortunate to also have a GT4RS and am considering Soul's valved exhaust system. So it's not like I am anti-aftermarket. Far from it.

Those of us who have deleted the OPF from our 992 GT3, and also done the Cargraphic Valve Controller, can attest that the sound is excellent -- especially on a bang/buck basis. Nothing comes close.

drone?
Thanks!

Anyone done the OPF delete and regret it? I hear it is more volume, like 30% more, but doesn't really change the sound much just a little freer breathing. If that is not the case I need to reconsider OPF delete.

I installed the Cargraphic Unit myself and am super happy with the results.
The car no longer sounds like a (restricted) vacuum cleaner under 5500 and after about ten months with the exhaust controller running OPEN 24/7 the car has in fact gotten fuller and louder.
It's sounds just "right" to me.

Seems the majority here have just done the carrgraphic controller and not the OPF and are very satisfied with the results. I have time scheduled with a shop on 4/19 to do the carrgraphic and initially told them to do the OPF delete at same time but now second guessing. Anyone else do the OPF and can describe either the increase in overall volume or the pitch / tone differences?

Just do the OPF Delete. Best decision I made. It is no where close to being too loud. Makes the valved exhaust more purposeful.
Just my two cents, but I am looking at changing my rear muffler because the volume is still not comparable to my 991.2 GT3.

I did both the OPF delete and the car graphics at the same time so I don't know how each one impacted the over all sound individually. I just know that the car sounds awesome.

Just did the Controller. OPF's still in.
Once you take it out for a drive. You don't need to get into stupid speeds to listen to that engine anymore.
Biggest change is from 2-5k rpm. It sounds amazing.
Also, for those still on the fence. I've watched as many videos as I can of it. There is no "one" video that can capture the difference.
Especially those that are static. In sport mode and in valve fully open mode. I CANNOT hear a discernable difference in idle.
Once you drive off though, the difference is clear and awesome!
Well worth it! Been so bummed coz its been pouring here in Asia.
