Interesting that Porsche is producing the same amount of model years for the RS as the regular GT3

 

@usctrojanGT3 I deleted the stickers and bought another set to apply after a full ppf. I ended up only putting on the rear bumper “GT3 RS” and left the side decals in the drawer for now, I use it mainly for track.

You will definitely need to double up the ppf in the wheel wells and where the factory protection is. Ppf however does not like to stick to ppf like it does paint so if you are going to seriously track the car have a plan to replace the top layer where you double it up.

Also be prepared for the sound of rocks hitting the wheel wells from tire pick up (track and street) it’s not as bad as it sounds with proper ppf (it sounds pretty bad), not a single ding so far (knock on wood)

 

I put some Tracwrap over the PPF on high impact areas when on track. Easy to remove afterwards.

Good choice in BBQ considering the area. Your build is making me rethink if I wanna stick with Ice Grey or swap over to Arctic Grey

The guys at the dealership mentioned that the best local BBQ spot was Corkscrews so been getting the BBQ from there every time I come out to Houston.

Arctic Grey looks better than Ice Grey which looks more like a like a white metallic color to me. I would have loved to have gotten Shark Blue but alas that color isn't available anymore.

That's a $200 ADM @usctrojanGT3 stop trying to act like you get GT cars for MSRP

 

I eat at least $50 of that ADM as it's my first meal of the day so it's only a $150 net ADM.

 

I'm a fan of Pit Room, Pinkertons... you should give it a try! Pinkertons is down 45 (20 ish mins from dealership south)

 

Let me look into those. I UBER to pick up the BBQ from the hotel and then UBER over to the dealer to eat there.

 

Pinkertons might be your bet, it's amazing - and a relatively short Uber drive. Or take a loaner from dealer for a couple hours - should be no issue lol.

Congrats on your 3RS! I also got a 3RS coming - hopefully we get that PTS approved.

Still sitting at v110 from what I can gather.

 

They got beef ribs and bacon mac & cheese, ok Pinkertons it is in November.
