I'd go CGT over a TDF. I think in the winter there may be some low to mid $400s driver Pistas out there and when I'll probably strike because the winter weather on the west coast is still very mild.

Anyone getting GT3RS. Make sure you double layer PPF behind the wheel vents. Had a few Knicks in ppf already from tires grabbing debris.

They weren't that low back then. I was shopping for one in 2019/2020 and had a 8k mile one at $650k but it did not pass PDI (lots of issues) so I passed. I missed another 10k one at $699k in Nov 2020 by 1 day.

If I pick the top 5 cars under 1 mil, Speciale/Stradale were the two Ferraris that keep taking 5th spot. That's now changed as the SLS Black Series is in that spot now (I have a thing for Gullwings and I had a Black Series before and they are just nasty is the only way I can describe it). But if I were to get a Ferrari it would easily be a Special or Challenge Straddle. Speciale is a great car. I've driven a couple an d compared it to a 458 regualar and a Pista. Speciale's driving experience is the best - most involving, most emotional... and at times stressful. But for me, I like that in my fun car.

At this point, I'm not sure you can put much stock in the tracker. Isn't the factory closed in August?

Three week shut down official. The issue is for some reason many many employees decided to punch vacations now, which is why we are seeing builds get pushed to when they return in mid August. This is effecting everything, many mid to senior executives are upset, but nothing can be done. Those “September” RS cars may get effected and could have a rippling impact on October/November builds too.

Seems you're in the know. My RS is already in production and was originally going to be finished this week, but now says it won't complete production until September. Sounds like as a result of what you described.

My understanding is Porsche rolls over to the next model year after August. Do you know if they would keep cars such as mine as MY2024 or will they make them 2025 cars along with the other 2025 cars that are in production in September too?

I do not this t one 100% true, but since VIN is assigned prior to the start of the production and the VIN specifies the model year in the 10th digit, it is unlikely that delays would push a MY2024 car in 2025 once production has started.

Correct. Once VIN is assigned that’s it.
