My dealer just got a SINGLE allocation for 2023. They said "we'll talk later this week". To put it in perspective, they got 4 991.2 GT3 RS allocations. These are gonna be hard to get.

They are all very hard to get at the beginning of production IMO. Tends to get easier as time goes on. Not saying that I'll be able to get one though.

i got a production date of my 992RS today: 9.Dec.2022
of course non-binding within those wild times we are in. but nevertheless.
should be ready with my number plates on - below my xmas tree at home.
i asked already in the main thread. when do you guys think first 992RS will hit US ground?
i´m thinking about bringing my car to CA or FL within February.
but:
"... a new vehicle going to the USA for tourism purposes will require an EPA exemption, this process can take a couple of weeks so best to make this EPA application first."
hopefully this EPA can be made also that easy - as if 992RS´s would be already on US ground. hopefully there will be no difference in the EPA process...

Does anyone know if the painted front hood will be available (CXX) on the first batch of allocations?
#313
Just back from my dealership...they confirmed that allocations are rolling in. Wouldn't commit to whether or not I have one of them (ownership decides)...but they're getting allocations.

That seems a lot more realistic than mid-23' delivery dates. My most recent build (post 2020) have been lock date on build to delivery in about 3 months all said and done.
