Will take RS over McLaren.
Just look at the video RS is so smooth around the track vs 750S starting at 12:50

No question the RS is better suited to pound out consistent lap times and is probably more confidence inspiring on a circuit.

Who didnt get an allocation by now(including me) probably will not get one from now. Porsche Center where i have my deposit since 2017 knows what cars will get(half on what they where expecting) and can't give me the 3RS.(general manager has change...)

Things are not looking good for 992.1 RS
Rumor is PAG is done with 992.1 and focusing on 992.2

I think Porsche needs to only look at 1 thing. Efficiency.

Like it or not, the root cause of all these production delays are 100% self inflicted by the unnecessary amounts of special editions all within a year or 2. It creates a logistical, tooling, and supplier nightmare. I understand what they wanted to achieve, but it seems to me to force these out so fast there's something they know they're not sharing. Otherwise there's absolutely no reason for the crunched production.

You have had a deposit waiting for a 3RS for 7 years!? Time to find a new dealer…

100% agreed!!
Porsche released too many editions (heritage, dakar, s/t, etc.) along with gt3rs, gt4rs..
No clue how they will sort this out. It will delay everything..
My best bet is wrap up 992.1 (no more allocations) and move onto 992.2

Based on my information, 992.1 RS will still be produced this year.

Sounds like it.
Best bet for Porsche is to start with 992.2 starting fall 2024.
As noted above Porsche released too many special editions for 992.1. There is no capacity..

If PAG keep releases more allocations especially in GT division it will be nightmare to fulfill orders It will drag into 2025 and we won't see 992.2 deliveries til Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.

Let's see and wait..

Profit margin on the "Special" Edition variants are probably at least 2x that of a base/S/GTS. I'm thinking they didn't do that by accident!

Yes, past allocations need to be fulfilled.
Let's see if Porsche release any more allocations in summer or fall for the RS..
