I fully expect the 994 GT3RSs to be hybrid and/or turbo, they may keep the GT3 NA but I won't count on that either.

A Pista is a no brainer versus a GT3RS at a similar price point. Pista prices are slowly coming down into into the high $400s and could very well be in the low-to-mid $400s in the next year or so. Pista is a $400s car, the GT3RS is a $300s car, and the GT3 is a $200s car.

The real question is will people who are allegedly out, stop posting on the topic? Or is it 900 more pages of false predictions of price drops, dealer bashing, bartering food for GT allocations, promises and claims to race every day (and publicly admonish anyone who doesn't) if you give me a GT car.
I've already had a Porsche Turbo and have no desire for another Porsche that's turbo just like I had zero interest in the GT2RS which I could have gotten an allocation for. If I want a turbo car I'll step up to a used Pista or put my focus on getting a CGT. But don't worry about me, I have a garage full of fun ICE GT cars to keep me happy until I'm 6 feet down.

I heard from a great source, from the source itself let’s just say…they will stretch the 992 chassis for 12 years. There will be a 992.3 and 992.2 gt3 rs will be turbo, the .3 will be hybrid. So this current rs will shoot up in value.

They'll put full Hybrid in Turbo S and 2RS, then likely next gen allow for hybrid assist in 3RS and keep the GT3 base NA.
Then what can they do with the .2 3RS to separate it from the .1? A digital dash? A bigger wing?

Full digital dash, small bump in power, different color choices, aero tweaks/tweaked bumpers, etc then slap a 10%+ price bump and done, easy peasy. Big changes don't typically happen between .1 and .2 variants (e.g. 991.1 GT3RS vs 991.2 GT3RS) but I guess we'll see when they reveal the .2GT3RS. I think we can both agree that they won't be many changes with the .2GT3 so why would their be big changes for the .2GT3RS. They can save the big changes for the next variant (994 or whatever they'll call it).

So I better buy one now before I'm priced out forever?

I personally don't mind that, but I don't think the Porsche cult that worships the brand and the prior gens can stomach 12yrs of the 992. Attention spans alone can struggle with such as Trojan always likes to mention the "new shiney toy".

For how long has your cleaning lady been with you? Would you recommend her (for cleaning - not for Porsche news)?

Each new GT "version" will continue to be the new shiny toy that everyone wants because of the marketing power of Porsche.

Listening to all the reviews of the 3RS where there are actual porsche engineers discussing the car, they all same the same thing about the 4.0, that the output is maxed with current emissions. If they bump the car 10-15hp with minor aero tweaks, it won't move the needle at all in terms of lap times, and that's what Porsche needs to do. Time will tell I guess

Porsche will sell every single GT3/RS they make no matter what they do to it...but after thousands of miles and multiple track days in both a GT2RS and GT3/RS, I only grab the keys to the NA cars. They connect with me better, and there are many people like me that share that connection to the NA platforms that just doesn't exist in the same way as the turbo cars. They're all amazing machines

I agree. A really good tuned/ straight piped turbo motor will send chills up your spine the same way as an NA car can especially big turbo cars that doent let boost come in til later in the powerband.

Been there and done that with a Supra, had a custom twin T3/T4 setup build for the car with over 600hp rear wheel horsepower and minimal turbo lag. It was fun but keeping the power down when downshifting got tricky with the lack of tire width. I also tracked modified 996 and 997 Turbos and while the power was intoxicating there's been nothing better than driving/tracking NA GT cars. So yeah, been there and done that with turbo cars and not making a return.
