has that been confirmed? I feel like if they don’t then .1 values will TANK once they flood the market. Changing to hybrid protects .1 IMO

What's the going speculation on the .2 3RS being hybrid or turbocharged? My prognostication is it will NOT be either. I certainly expect to see a hybrid system added with the 2RS. Such a bold prediction. 😀

As for the next gen 994 3 RS? Who knows. But, I. would speculate, yes to either.

Yeah having 991.2 GT2RS type power with the 992.1 GT3RS aero is going to put off a lot of people..... Hopefully that's actually the case and nobody buys them! Yeah right....

Porsche has to put a gap between the .1 and .2 3RS. The aero is already maxed out and the 4.0 is maxed out. The only way to put a gap between them is more power. The only way to get more power is a battery or turbo. It's speculation but it's very logical

I didn't say that. I was speaking specifically to USC who says he doesn't want a GT car with a turbo or battery. Calm down bud

There's no way they'll let the .2 variant get hybrid.

They'll put full Hybrid in Turbo S and 2RS, then likely next gen allow for hybrid assist in 3RS and keep the GT3 base NA.

Great theory. If that is the case, then we are at the same age old crossroads “They will always make another generation”. And the market shows that there are enough people that want these cars AND have the means to buy them to justify ADM on a .1 now.

So do you want to pay the higher ADM to get one NOW or have one “lightly used” later on for a personal “value” that works for you?

Default Gt3 rs

I need your valuable input on a dilemma I'm facing. I've got the chance to get my hands on a 992 GT3 RS, but here's the catch: my dealer is asking for $160k over MSRP, bringing the total to a hefty $460,000. However, they're throwing in some enticing extras like PPF, satin black wrap, roll cage, and black keys for free.

Originally, I was lined up for an allocation, but now it seems the option on the table is a new car already built with around 70 miles on it. I'm torn between pulling the trigger on this deal or waiting it out in hopes that prices will eventually come down.

Your insights and experiences would be immensely helpful in guiding my decision. Thanks in advance for your input!

Personally I think it comes down to how bad you want the car right now. Prices will come down but we don’t know how much. Risk tolerance is highly individual.

If you live in a warm climate, then I say go for it!

It's difficult to say, but being the 3RS is fixing to be in its 3rd production year and they're still almost impossible to get says alot.

Are you rationalizing that the .2 GT3RS is immune to ANY delay of ANY parts or ANY labor from ANY country? There has been an issue in production in every single model of every single car production. Why? Because Porsche is not building shoelaces in the basement.

The real question is will people who are allegedly out, stop posting on the topic? Or is it 900 more pages of false predictions of price drops, dealer bashing, bartering food for GT allocations, promises and claims to race every day (and publicly admonish anyone who doesn't) if you give me a GT car.

Got it, thanks for your input. I was also considering the 488 Pista alongside the GT3 RS. What are your thoughts on that? Would love to hear your perspective on both options, especially since I do live in a warm climate.

That's a good point. The high demand for the 3RS despite being in its third production year speaks volumes about its desirability and performance capabilities. It's definitely something worth considering when making a decision. Thanks for sharing your insight.

I will be but I think it's more likely then not that it'll be NA but if it is turbo/hybrid then I'll focus on picking up something else or even a used .1GT3RS.
