Maybe the belarus article from us dept of treasury is a coincidence?

jalopnik says cars will have to be entirely rebuilt? But the ones here are getting chips? If chips can be retrofitted, why rebuild them? Very confusing.

That explains my dealer's frustration in getting 3 RS allocations out. These delays at the port are hurting their performance significantly.

Costs associated with port storage, contract staff hired, etc. Much cheaper to rebuild in-house. Engineers here make 6 figures all day, but in Europe, it’s rare and usually only Senior+ engineers make 80-100k euros

This is nothing some 9 yr old Chinese or Indian kids cant solve. In all seriousness stuff like this sadly happens all the time. My 3RS in production likely will be impacted, but not as badly as cars already state side.

My build went from 36 days to 68 days til to dealer. Likely due to going EM and chip hiccup. I expect that date to move a bit between now and then.

What a cluster fock with the GT3RS....I'm now glad that I'll wait to get a .2GT3RS and hopefully by that time things will be squared away without all these chip/part/repair delays.

Lucky mine hasn’t hit production yet. Scheduled for mid Feb. might actually be a good thing I got a later build date.

Wait a sec… first time I have heard you have an allocation for a 3RS. Did I miss this in all your “I am so wealthy I complain about what I cannot afford” posts.

Nope, didn't get an MSRP .1GT3RS allocation since I got a PTS GT3 & GT4RS and I'm not willing to pay a $100k ADM for the car. GM said they'll take care of me with the .2GT3RS.

Oh Damn. That was a fast reply. Had no idea you are just a Forum Nerd.

I concede. I will no longer engage in this foolery.

LOL, I just happened to be in the thread when you posted. But yeah, I'm an RL addict.

the jalopnik article doesn’t say that, and it would make no sense. Some board or component will get swapped out entirely, not especially differently than if the vehicle had needed to be serviced for an electrical issue which fried it.

You mentioned dozens of times you're out on the GT cars when they go turbo/hybrid. You won't like the .2 3RS
