The allocation is confirmed and in the system with name attached. I'm not concerned with losing the car but submitting a build 9-10 months prior to production month and not getting the color you want on a $300k+ car is sh*tty

 

I know people insist there's no such thing as a PTS spot, but I've spoken with 2 different dealer groups and 6 total different dealers that all say otherwise. Basically yes the comm# are limited to XX qty, yet the dealers are limited to the amount they can send in for PTS. It makes perfect since as PAG has to control rarity of colors. Some will say it doesn't matter to Porsche what color you choose, yet let's look at the other brands that limit such and now Porsche is heading towards that business model.

For the past 2 MY my dealer got 3 tributes, 6 basic color 3RS, and 1 PTS.... that one is mine and I'll be the last delivery for MY24 when it arrives in 49 days according to TYD. Yet, my comm# has been in TYD since 9/24/22.

 

The irony of the PTS debacle is Porsche’s entire marketing campaign for the past two years.

Yup, PCNA knows as much as dealers on what PAG will actually do.

 

Yeah, PTS can be a total roll of the dice but that why I feel very fortunate that I got PTS on both my Touring and 4RS.

My Ice Grey Metallic Dakar arrives next week, and my Shark Blue GT3 RS will arrive middle of March. In retrospect, I’m kinda glad PTS wasn’t available at the time. Saved $36k 😂

 

I wish PCNA tripled your GT car allocations.

 

I'd be racing at Daytona this weekend if that was the case.

 

Does anyone have a weird list of options show up in TYD that don’t fully match your build? Trying to see if I need to confirm the build was inputted correctly or if all the options (both standard and selected) show up in that text list on TYD.

 

Never hurts to verify at dealer.

 

On their end the build is as configured. Think it’s more of TYD issue. Or a presentation of options issue

 

My 3RS started production today. Projected 3/15 arrival.

 

My RS Build just updated with a Freeze Point Reached! So stoked. Now time to wait. Says it will be at my dealer in Sothern, CA for delivery April 27th.
