Same here. Question for you all? Since PTS is not available (just found out today ordered 6/21) Would you all still go with a basic color 992.1 3RS or wait for the 992.2 3RS which my dealer will give me the first spot when it comes out. What would you all do?
I would go for dot one. Don’t know what’s gonna happen with the dot two gt3rs specs.
I am also number one at my dealer. They said not sure mine would come out meaning not sure if it would be time for a dot one or dot two.
Well my PTS was just cancelled a week after my dealer told me it was approved. The screenshot history details below shows that it was approved and then now it is cancelled. Looks like most of us are getting cancelled.
I'm getting white now. Oh well. Saves me $21k. I hope they approve my European Delivery in January.

thats very not ok to just select white instead of asking you. Also what about the interior stitch colors and exterior decals color and all that? You would need to change them that goes well with white no? So they just submitted the order right away before you having a chance to adjust those options??
It's a default Porsche puts in. They also send notification to the dealer to contact the customer immediately to update. I assume they have to have something in the computer logistically, so it makes sense.

Sorry to hear that. I guess I'm glad that my dealer told me from the beginning that my allocation was not PTS eligible so I just ended up picking one of the standard colors.
Don't delay with your selections. Our 4RS was denied PTS recently. We got notification from the dealership to make new selections with a freeze date a month out. Once we resubmitted with the dealership, it locked the next day.
My 3RS moved up about the same amount of time.
Not that this will be of any help to those who were denied PTS. My understanding is that next year, Porsche will expand its PTS capabilities from one production line to three.

I am not 100% sure. I know it was V110 waiting for PTS approval a month ago with an October build. A week ago, I called my dealership for a status update since it had not shown up in TYD yet. They told me that the build was moved out to January and PTS was approved. I never asked them the V status.
Here is what is weird though. It showed up in TYD over the weekend and the color was white and not Gulf Blue. So I called the dealership back again and asked them what was up and they send me a whole bunch of screen shots from their tracking system. One of the screen shots which I posted above shows that it was approved at some point and then it was cancelled. The dealership never got an email that it was cancelled like they normally do, they just saw it in their system when I asked them about it - and the information was different. My lock date is now out in late November. I asked them to go back to PCNA to try to get PTS readded but that will be extremely unlikely since I am a non-VIP nobody.
I'm not unhappy but the $80k ADM that I paid is much less justifiable for a run of the mill non-PTS White RS.

I'm happy with my run of the mill White 3RS. And not uncommon for folks to pay $80K ADM or more for a non-PTS allocation. Or even a used 3RS for that matter.

I will ask the dealer for a lower ADM based on a non PTS allocation
business is business
dealers are charging more for PTS allocation
so if PTS is not approved , that should be a reduced ADM
unfortunately , there are no clear margins for ADM
Looks like ADMs are coming down as I was told couple of east coast dealers have configurable allocations at 75-80k over today. Hoping they will be at 60k over by the time we hit Christmas lol.
