@PTS i totally understand your frustration. it is often a communication chain of 3-4 people in different time zones.

also, the factory holiday closures and summer break lead to a lot of unanswered emails throughout the year.

my experience with MSO as a mclaren client and dealer was a lot different as there was small enough volume we could get ahold of the guy painting the car for progress pics on my senna and p1.

Nice simple build. 100k over they are asking. Just reached out to them. Was curious.
That went quick.

{sigh} congrats man - so jealous and envious - what an awesome car collection you must have.

thank you for your time and patience answering questions for us customers - sales and distribution networks are complex beasts - your experience and willingness to share is appreciate by myself and I'm sure others on the forums.

but yeah - MY SENNA and P1 - ROFL - congrats man!!! Dreams are made of such things.

I had a batch 1 allocation that got bumped back so I requested pts and it cleared. this car got slotted into a similar window with Batch 2 cars.

i had a client get a feb S/T slot that I requested to bump back for the pts window and it worked, albeit his build date is delayed 5 months now.

there is a max capacity at zuffenhausen. anyone who has actually been there (I was there last week) can see this with their own eyes.
I was fortunate to get this done for a PTS RS but wasn't a simple process.

My dealer did the whole process for me. They knew I HAD to have Acid Green amd was immediately sending them heart laced renderings as soon as the 992RS was launched. My order was confirmed in the initial rpund of allocations, yet like many other that wanted WP and PCCB those weren't available in the first round so pushed to next. Well PTS books weren't open so that pushed mine into MY24. My dealer got 10 3RS. 2 were VIP tributes, 7 were standard colors, and 1 PTS. I know people here say allocations aren't PTS specific, but I believe dealers are limited to what and how many they can do as PTS. My dealer stayed in constant contact with PCNA Rep to make sure my spot was secured for PTS and once that final V215 hit it was a sigh of relief. I don't for a second believe there's unlimited stalling spots for the sake of PTS and the dealers are forced to move on those allocations to.others ready for simple specs.

Yeah it adds to the delay, but getting things how you want them makes it worth while.

Not sure if getting CXX helped, but I was able to get PTS for an October build. Car is currently on a boat and set to arrive in Houston on 1/12/24 and arrive at the dealer 1/19/24 according to TYD.

I originally had a June/23 production, I had visions of attending RR7 with the RS, but I also wanted PTS which had to be an October/23 build date. I passed on the June and went with October. Well, it’s now January and I’m still not out of “production” which then heads to CXX, so who knows.

Please trust me when I say, Zuffenhausen is still coming apart at the seams. They are trying to accommodate everyone, but as of now they are trying to reschedule and shuffle things around. It’s causing delays on everything including and not limited to confirming your @PTS

They can’t even calendar consultations for CXX work because they don’t know how to fit it in, and believe me, they want the work because it makes them money.

This is why I laugh a little when I keep hearing about ramping up and selling as many cars as they can and blah blah. Maybe in the future but not within the next 12 months.

There will not be a magical glut of RS cars coming around this Spring. Allocations are pretty much known for the next few quarters and in some cases through 2024.

.
Exactly, I had to make a few calls just to be able to get an opening chance to visit the Museum while I was over there the past couple weeks. Ended up not even having time, but they were beyond capacity with just tours let alone builds. Hell.... the track experiences are basically all booked out aswell. The demand is off the charts and Porsche being a stickler doing things its own way won't deviate or sacrifice its brand reputation in the name of demand for more. They'll make their money in Margins being increased, not more volume. Supply side 101.

PTS in Turquoise Blue. The car went into production 10/13/23 and was finished 12/11/23. Originally it was supposed to be finished 10/25/23. Not sure what took so long, but I'm assuming it was because of CXX. Only had $13,000 worth of CXX items added, none of which were major, so I'm not sure what took so long. Maybe they are really backed up with CXX orders.

I saw somewhere recently where the new CXX minimum is now up to $25k for 2024 and on

Wow, that's a big increase. When I did CXX, the minimum was $10,000.

Got it! Wanted to get a general idea. I know non of this is concrete and my 3rs in Acid Green with WP over Indigo wheels is set to start 1/8/24. I don't have any real CXX options, but alot of EM items so we'll see how that goes. I'm NW Houston myself so it'd be difficult to miss either of out specs out in the wild lol.
