@PTS i totally understand your frustration. it is often a communication chain of 3-4 people in different time zones.
also, the factory holiday closures and summer break lead to a lot of unanswered emails throughout the year.
my experience with MSO as a mclaren client and dealer was a lot different as there was small enough volume we could get ahold of the guy painting the car for progress pics on my senna and p1.

Nice simple build. 100k over they are asking. Just reached out to them. Was curious.

{sigh} congrats man - so jealous and envious - what an awesome car collection you must have.
thank you for your time and patience answering questions for us customers - sales and distribution networks are complex beasts - your experience and willingness to share is appreciate by myself and I'm sure others on the forums.
but yeah - MY SENNA and P1 - ROFL - congrats man!!! Dreams are made of such things.

I had a batch 1 allocation that got bumped back so I requested pts and it cleared. this car got slotted into a similar window with Batch 2 cars.
i had a client get a feb S/T slot that I requested to bump back for the pts window and it worked, albeit his build date is delayed 5 months now.
there is a max capacity at zuffenhausen. anyone who has actually been there (I was there last week) can see this with their own eyes.

Yeah it adds to the delay, but getting things how you want them makes it worth while.

Not sure if getting CXX helped, but I was able to get PTS for an October build. Car is currently on a boat and set to arrive in Houston on 1/12/24 and arrive at the dealer 1/19/24 according to TYD.

I originally had a June/23 production, I had visions of attending RR7 with the RS, but I also wanted PTS which had to be an October/23 build date. I passed on the June and went with October. Well, it’s now January and I’m still not out of “production” which then heads to CXX, so who knows.
Please trust me when I say, Zuffenhausen is still coming apart at the seams. They are trying to accommodate everyone, but as of now they are trying to reschedule and shuffle things around. It’s causing delays on everything including and not limited to confirming your @PTS
They can’t even calendar consultations for CXX work because they don’t know how to fit it in, and believe me, they want the work because it makes them money.
This is why I laugh a little when I keep hearing about ramping up and selling as many cars as they can and blah blah. Maybe in the future but not within the next 12 months.
There will not be a magical glut of RS cars coming around this Spring. Allocations are pretty much known for the next few quarters and in some cases through 2024.

PTS in Turquoise Blue. The car went into production 10/13/23 and was finished 12/11/23. Originally it was supposed to be finished 10/25/23. Not sure what took so long, but I'm assuming it was because of CXX. Only had $13,000 worth of CXX items added, none of which were major, so I'm not sure what took so long. Maybe they are really backed up with CXX orders.
