Rear wheel steering...

Was watching an old video on the 911R, arguably the best non-track 911 before the S/T, and didn't realize the programming of the 911R's rear wheel steering was changed so it did nothing between 40-70 mph (i.e., opposite below 40 and same direction above 70). The current gen GT3 is programmed to mostly deactivate from 30-50 mph. So, it makes a lot of sense to completely remove it from the S/T and save weight since it's a road focused car. Also, goes hand-in-hand with rear wing deploying at 80 mph instead of 50 mph... keeping the proper 911 shape.

Being offered an allocation. Pts not guaranteed. Adm is around 250k. Seems way too high for a car that needs to be leased for a year. What is the average non vip adm for these. Bought a pts touring which they want back. Thank you.

Yea decided to just buy a manual 991.2 gt3 AND 812 superfast, plus i already have the 992 gt3. No way I am plunking down that amount of ADM. Not worth it to me.

Ouch. $250k ADM and only $100k back for touring sounds painful unless your touring has a ton of miles. On BAT, used tourings seem to still be going for $50k+ even with miles and yours is pts. Essentially, their offer sounds like $350k ADM.
