and as far as people saying the ST is a parts bin car, this clutch is bespoke, that says a lot about this cars development.
Only reason that scares me just a touch is because I plan on tracking the car once or twice a year. Of course there are ways to drive a manual on track to limit damage to the clutch but I like to go 10/10 when I'm on circuit, and the 992 GT3 makes that pretty easy to do. I guess it's a small price to pay over time

I track all my cars and when I mentioned about taking the ST on track, was told, this is not a track car, stick with your GT3 or buy an RS.

But whatever, I’m tracking this thing anyways.

Clutch tyranny will keep mileage low. Pity.

I think launching the car is much harder on the clutch than driving it (well) on a road course. Particularly easy on the clutch if you use the auto rev matching.

I rent out my local track twice a year and bring a bunch of friends and family out and let most people drive my cars on track to experience it (after I've seen them drive and assess their competency). I don't think I'll be as lenient with the ST

Do you serve BBQ at these track events?

Same. I think the track is the best place to experience your car at its limits... even if the limits are not the same as the RS. Safer than your local highway bustling with semi trucks, sideshows and downforce heavy FWD cars.

If so, I'll bring one of my cars down. Nothing better than having Task Rabbit drop off Texas BBQ at the track for lunch.

We sure could've used some. We had Jimmy Johns sandwiches instead. Texas BBQ >

I track all of my non-track cars regardless if they are old or new.

I have tracked all of my GT cars extensively without worry, it’s typically safer than driving to the grocery store. However for my S/T it will have to be in the appropriate setting, Ei a private track day or a group I really trust. I always do ED with my cars so I can hit the tracks overseas, but might skip the tracks this time with S/T and focus on some passes I need to check off the list
