Have you thought through how to address the missing structure here? (Do you plan to get the body parts and cut and weld them onto your car?)

I did the same to my 997.1 gt3.
I haven't upgraded my gt3 due to the rear seat issue in 991 and 992 gt3s.
good luck! Happy to follow in your footsteps

Two years ago I had a 997 GT3 with retrofit back seats pop up for sale locally. By the time I went to see it, it had been sold. Still kicking myself over that one.

@Mech33 . Waiting on the german instructions from Elfermotors. Haven't even given a thought to it. Will figure it out when have all the pieces and parts.

Remember, my motto is to leap before you look. Or, as matt damon says in a crypto ad, fortune favors the brave.

In all seriousness, this is supposedly a bolt on kit. Should have kit next week and instructions. Until then, eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we are dying. Please dont lose any sleep over me.

Please update with pictures of the areas of the rear tub where the seat belt attachments bolt on.

I am looking to do the same. Can you please confirm:
- Are there the fixing points for seat belts and seats
- Is the carpet cut to accommodate or is a new carpet needed?

Thank you for pioneering this and sharing for the benefit of others.

I don't have my car yet but according to elfersport, there are. Will see when I get the intstructions with the kit. Should arrive mid next week.

You need to purchase a new carpet section - $450

The parts list is here.

Love this so much. Thanks for documenting here. Just left my dealer having put a deposit on a Touring in anticipation of your success.

Any update? My car is in production as we speak and I am super excited.
if the fixing points are on the car and no welding etc is needed that is amazing news. Fingers crossed.

Thanks again

Yep, huge letdown that the touring once again has no back seats. Good for OP for making it happen.

The name is just a marketing ploy, but obviously it worked. GT3 Touring is an oxymoron.

iīm anotherone for 2+2 in a 992 GT3 Touring! thank you for this thread!!

i was personally at elfermotors back in 2021. checked out their kit on a 991.1 GT3. helpful and nice people. but no real magic behind all.

the TUEV approval is helpfull for me to get it also approved in Austria. (at the end its just a "good" german-TUEV-guy who approves the kit on a "bird view" perspective. but approved is approved. )

donīt expect too much from their 3k USD kit. it will be a set of bolts and stuff to fix the OEM rear seat parts. this will be metal parts which you probably could copy for 500USD on a CNC shop. (but i didnīt saw the 992 kit till now) and for me its fully ok to send 3k to elfermotors for making all this work.

personally i donīt know if they did already till now a 992 GT3 2+2 or 992 GT3 Touring 2+2.
but they did several 991.1 GT3 2+2, 991.2 GT3 2+2 and 991.2 GT3 Touring 2+2.
