Made a new option D:

-I'm going for a 992 combo: 992 C4S manual for winter, upcoming 992 GT3 RS for summer weekend and track

Aweome! Enjoy.

Just to be clear - your backseat kit is for a 991, not a 992, correct?

@shack993 Kudos to you!!!

IMO, Porsche has neglected the dads that want an NA engine/GT/daily car and a factory backseat? My wife will not allow a retro-fit backseat on my 997 GT car. I love the car, but I can not daily because I never know when I might have a sudden school, practice, piano lesson pick-up with my kids. I have to plan out when I drive the car based upon this dilemma. Seems to me, I know many others in the same situation and Porsche is choosing to neglect a demo that can afford these cars, especially frustrating to me when I look at the size of the 992.

FWIW - People that say the backseats are useless - I totally disagree - I used them all the time on my CarreraT, some of the back passengers were up to 5’ 9” teenagers and they thought it was fun, my oldest is 15 (13 at the time) and she would slide forward and her friends would sit in the back and I would do the same at 6’ never had an issue for short trips.

So I got the parts finally.. well all but ONE seat belt assembly that is still back ordered.

These leather seats look awesome and are a perfect match for my 991.2 Touring's black leather with black stitching. Perfect.

So I'm going ahead with the project as planned. 4 Seats in this GT3T!

I'm gonna keep the GT3T, and the Cayenne Turbo, and take delivery of a new 992 C4S PTS manual, and keep the classic. Keeping them all! Except the Cayman T.

It’s finally happening!!!! Can’t wait

Update - still waiting on my car. But a rennlister from Zurich just posted pictures of his Elfermotors kit in EM leather. Looks fantastic.

One more update. My 911r houndstooth fabric arrived today from europe. Thanks for Garry at @classicfx for helping source.

I have sofas. So planning on redoing the fabric inserts on the sofas with the 911r fabric along with the inserts of the back seats. The sport classic stole my idea!

So I started by disassembling the rear interior of the car. It was a bit tricky due to the clips. With this all apart it is easy to install the Elfermotors brackets. They bolt right in.

I have the wrong seat belts for the rear. I accidentally bought front ones. So I'm in the process of sourcing rears.

Waiting on the correct seat belts to arrive. Located one in California and one in Germany.

Our latest booster seat test. Can’t seem to find a good one. Really starting to miss having the backseat…

What do you mean your wife wont let you? Since when do you need her permission?

Yes my wife works in critical care and is super tedious about car seats, child-safety, safety ratings, etc.....

I buy whatever I want, but she has a say in the above ^^ and retro-fitting car seats was a non-starter for her.

Maybe down the road with OP's help I can show her the safety benefits, but I am more-so hoping Porsche will see that we need this from the factory.
