Good dirt has been >$10MM/acre in BeverlyHills/Atherton, etc for past >5y
Build costs >>$500/sf for past >5y
All discretionary consumables, whether houses/girls/planes, let alone mere cars, tend to index to NDX/SPX price dynamics
NDX/SPX price dynamics of last 12y (or any period) are transparent data available to all

Dis me. When you find it, let me know. Literally just trying to buy my dream car and instead of spreading things out into multiple cars, I’m trying to go all in on one. We can make a GT3 living commune together. 😂

oh by all means, please educate me on the home building process because it seems you have vast experience in building a home.
I mean- this is only our 4th home we are budilign with the same builder since 2013, but I welcome your wisdom on the home building process.
Looking forward to learning from you.

I'm seriously drafting up plans to turn my dining room into a garage/display area for my GT3 (and later 992RS). I always wanted a car in my home similar to TexasPorsche lover. My GF (and probably future wife) doesn't like the idea. Wonder why. lol.

Totally with you. My entire house might fit in Yippie's bathroom which is fine with me. I spent 20 years in the submarine force so don't really value or need a large living space. I really just want an old firehouse that can fit 6 cars, a lift, and a tiny apartment above......and a fire pole to get down to the garage quickly. Kinda like batman. lol.

First of all, thank you for your service. Second- putting the car in the dining room is an awesome idea. One thing you can do- put one of these glass sliding doors in the front for access. Then motorize it. You can then have a remote in your car to open the slider. From the outside, it just looks like glass doors on your dining room but they are designed to allow access into the house.

PM me and I can send you some pics. Don’t want to post it here as there are already too many people with their parties bunched up too tight. If I post a pic of what we are doing for my garage, it might seriously send someone to the hospital with a heart attack.

Dang, you need to apply for a Cxx code for that mod!! Are you putting in a turn table for it too? That would be awesome to see it slowly rotate around 24/7!!

A turntable would be really cool. I actually tried to sneak one in but that got shot down quickly by the wife. She is a saint but even she has her limits.

Let's start a garage thread. I'd love to see the different badass garages in here. Ideas for current and future home
