No flame, but yep you're new to this game. There is no way he can tell you this. You're being played, told what you want to hear. For ref read the 991 GT3 forum when all these issues didn't exist and see what pricing was towards the end of the run.

Getting this thread back on track...

For those of you in the upstate NY area, Porsche Clifton Park plans on adding 20-50k ADM on GT3/RS.

Specifically remember folks asking for late production cars that were still buildable/spec-able and willing to pay up for them with the 991.2's.

I think by the time the RS is able to be ordered, the crazy car prices (and everything else) will have leveled out. The economy will have normalized and the post covid supply chain distortion will have evaporated. I will put my neck out and say the ADM will be less for the RS than the GT3. I'm still going to get an RS at MSRP anyway.

I didn’t ask specifically, because I quickly lost interest in the convo upon hearing this, but he did say more exclusive GTs have higher ADM. I took that to mean 3 and 2RS.

Do you really think that Porsche will build less 992.1 GT3s than 991.2 GT3s if there were no capacity constrains and/or parts shortages? I'll help you out, the answer to my question is NO. The only reason question is will demand outstrip that additional supply.

Truth is we don't know.. but it's reasonable to think that Porsche will build to demand as they always have. They adjust the 911 production line according to what the market wants... Remember, this is nothing more than a regular 911 with an engine and some off-the-shelf parts that they combine into a car they call a "Gt3" to send us addicted fools all into titillations. Profit margin's are probably a little bit higher on this due to the price, costs are just the same to build it as anything else, the more options we order the more money they make. It's all the same **** in a different marketing package. Look at how they increase production for the 991 GT3... It's likely and reasonable to think it will increase it even more this go round.

Do you really think that if Porsche builds a few more 992s than they did 991s that discounts off MSRP for a GT car will automatically happen? I’ll help you out, the answer to my question is NO. The demand is far higher than it has ever been. My dealer network that owns 3 Porsche stores in different regions of the country has, on average, a 70% longer list for the 992 GT cars than they did for the 991. Sure ADMs will likely come down but discounts off MSRP is fantasy land if you’re not a VIP-esq client

991 list had 12 deep at a dealer. 992 list now has 21 ? I'm rounding up.

That sucks.
