Not sure if this has been posted yet. When you put the two together, the sound difference isn't as large as many people on this board make it seem. The lower range torque is much more obvious.

No doubt one of the best sounding turbo set-ups on the market; but I still prefer the NA-6 and will not be buying any boosted Porsches :/

To be honest neither car sounds all that great in the video, and there certainly isn't enough of a difference in that video to base a buying decision based solely on sound.

I was a little surprised at how it pulled away from the .1 in the mini race. I mean, it was pretty effortless.

The performance differential between the 991.1 and the 991.2 is huge.
As I have written elsewhere, I spent the last weekend on the track at Porsche Leipzig in my GT3 surrounded by a bunch of new 991.2 Carrera S. They really haul **** out of corners and gave my GT3 a good run for its money. I can carry much more corner speed, but in a straight-line.....it's close....very close.

The 991.1 sounds like it also has but admittedly there is no physical evidence of that in the video.

He reviewed that 991.1 previously a left out the key point in this video that the car does NOT have sport exhaust. However, still a nice review and proof the NA cars sound great w/o PSE, not sure if that's the case with FI.

Interesting how around 2:00 mark in the video, you hear that "vacuum" sound for about 2-3 seconds before the "traditional" naturally aspirated sound they are shooting for kicks in.

Yes, I fully expect a 450hp GTS to be as quick, if not quicker, than my GT3 in a straight line, but around a track, the GT3 will still rule. However, I am first of the list for a GTS at my dealer...not to replace my GT3 but to sit alongside it.
