Actually I'm having a problem with that very spike. I'm having a hard time getting a smooth rollout on the throttle while tracking out from an apex. I think the Cobb Access Point is my only real solution.

I've definitely read that as well...Porsche has done this due to Turbo cars being so much more quieter vs NA

I was at the Dealer today getting some final settings completed and scanned an issue of Excellence that had a nice article about the Symposers http://www.excellence-mag.com/issues/236
My 991.2 is just fine inside without SE, not loud at all.
The tone lowers when flipping through Sport & Sport Plus but it's not dramatic. -Richard
