SupremePower was very gracious and made me aware of all the options for changing the finish, but I'm going to wait on that. I think there is something to be said for how it comes from the factory without the noise of me trying to change things - maybe it will look great just the way it is? Either way, there is no rush to change the finish now. I have OEM wheels on a shelf in case I change my mind on finish later.

If you want to later revisit finishing in the future, we do stock factory BBS Motorsport Germany paints in: Silver, White Gold, Motorsport Gold, Platinum, Bronze.

So, purchased my “new to me” 2012 Carrera S with 16,000 miles last week. Still trying to decide what, if anything to do to the car…
Ordered replacement for sticky ***** and black Lloyd’s mats with red deviated stitching today from Suncoast. Thinking about upgrading the steering wheel to the 991.2 design…

Carbon fiber door sills
I'm not sure if I would have done this if I'd known all of the work involved. I have them temporarily covered/secured for now as I plan to cover them with PFF to protect them from wear.
Prep
Remove inner sill and weather lining
Getting ready to clean...
Final

Yes removing and installing door sills are a pain.
