"Don't know why Porsche uses so much of the "silver" trim, but it looks kind of cheesy to me."
Don't know why Porsche uses so much of the "carbon fiber" trim, but it looks pretentious to me.
Perfect segue & timing from @Tier1Terrier (who shared a great DIY on his install btw), I had the Rennline Pedal Set and Heel Guard installed in the interior for aesthetics. Let's be honest, I don't have a 3-Pedal setup in the GTS and I don't expect any HP gains, so what else could it be?! LOL!!!
Paired with the dead pedal featuring the Porsche crest embedded as shown, I feel it pairs nicely with the silver accents (that most dislike) on the steering wheel. Ties in really well visually upon entrance and is already putting a dastardly grin on my face every time I open the door! It's the little things in life... and it's all in the details!!
Heel and toe extensions on an Automatic Transmission car, are you pulling our leg?
Installed a Rennline Bump Steer kit and got an alignment. Made a noticeable improvement in handling and fixed some bump steer issues.
I was considering this mod since my car is lowered on Eibach's. Would you please explain what exactly the BS kit does ? Any downside to ride comfort etc. ?

The BS kit fixes the geometry of the suspension and steering components that changes when you lower the vehicle. In my case, bump steer was noticeable and annoying, but this kit along with alignment fixed that. The car feels more planted at higher speeds too. No downside for me, driven about 100 miles since installed, but it's only been a few days. Conversely, I feel more comfortable and safer on spirited drives.
Downloaded my file and sent it to Softronic- always a little afraid when I'm doing it because I am totally computer illiterate and usually use a mac so the pc stuff feels really foreign. Got the file back late today so I know I'll be sitting there tomorrow watching the dash light up like a nuclear reactor for 30-40 minutes, and then just praying the car will start when I'm done!! (and I'll be asking for help as I have no idea how to unzip a file!!)

I’ve heard mixed comments on the need to hook up for the battery during a tune. That likely has some factors to it like usage, age, etc. I wouldn’t want the battery to die mid-tune, so I’d prob opt for the charger route. I’ve tuned another car before and no battery issue. Haven’t tuned my 991 tho.
ps.. to unzip, save the file to your desktop and right click and select Extract All. Good luck!

So hyped for you, your gonna love it. I know exactly what yer feeling even though I used the Cobb AP I still was worried. I did hook up the charger the first time I ran the process but after that I didint. The thought of the battery dying mid tune and bricking the ECU sounds like one of those dreams I woke up from.

Boy, that's the most responses I've ever gotten from a post! I did a softronic tune on my 981 spyder last year after doing some major exhaust mods and am happy with that. I did hook up a 10A charger while sitting there watching the dash during the process. Was SO happy when the car started after!!
Thanks for the suggestion on unzipping- will report back later today- hope to do it later. (Nice to be retired...)
I have a 2017 C2 PDK with PSE. Mods so far include a APR stage 1 tune and Akra cats. Getting Tial inlets, BMC filter and SOUL headers installed tomorrow and I’m super pumped!
Glen Rock PA, 10 minutes from home. Would love to have a driving date one day mate! Not many 911s south of Harrisburg.
