What did you buy your 991 today thread

oh that would be amazing since I have a 4 GTS. However, I have a 991.2 so I don’t think that’s going to work. And looks like they don’t make a .2 version. :-(

Finally got around to mounting a dash mount for my phone. Had it on my bmw for a year and removed to see if any adhesive residue remained. None….on the 911 it goes! Initially I was fine having the phone in the armrest compartment hooked up for CarPlay. Pain in the *** (or back as the case may be). This setup is far more user friendly for me.

Works great!

About $100 worth of orings.
These are just regular orings for coolant connections to the thermostat housing. My car developed a leak there and, you know, mission creep. I’m addressing all sorts of things while I’m in there.
Replacing the tensioner and tensioner pulley as well, but why can’t you buy just the idler pulley? Can only find the whole ‘console deflection roller’ assembly. The exploded diagram doesn’t list a part number for just this roller…its just slightly different than the tensioner pulley. Weird, but I guess I’m gonna reuse the old one for now.

there is a thread about replacing the belt/tensioner with tips on getting out the carriage bolt. I won’t retype it all here, but if you can’t find the link (because Rennlist search sucks) just private message me and I’ll look it up.
