Sunset Porsche to the rescue!

Nothing makes me smile like big boxes from Porsche!
Ordered new tweeters and grills
991.2 GT3 RS side sills
A new front lip spoiler.

Install time was around 3 hours. With a few interruptions, and about 1hr looking for tools that I dropped to misplaced.
It took me a while to figure out that the side sills have snaps and clips. Once the 1/2 turn clips were out, this is a real easy process.

The tweeters were a "snap" pun intended. The sound is incredible! I had to turn down the treble from +4 to -2. So much better sound stage.

New cup to fit the cup holder. Color is pretty close. I bought 2 so I always have a clean one when I leave in the morning.

Do you happen to have the part number for the grills?

Hi,
If you don't mind me asking, which model (wide body vs. narrow body and audio system (standard vs. Bose)?
I like to do same thing so I wanted to ask you first. Thanks!

It's a 2016 GT3, so medium wide body, I believe it's Bose.GT3 RS side sills

991.2 GT3 RS Side Skirts (more aggressive)
991-504-595-86-OK1, left
991-504-596-86-OK1, right

991.1 GT3 RS Side Skirts (less aggressive)
991-504-595-90-1E0, left
991-504-596-90-1E0, right

Out the door with shipping, Sunset was cheaper then the other places. Shipping was not cheap.

Picked up a nice little LED flashlight to keep in the car. Very bright and small so it is perfect. I picked up a couple extras if someone wants one cheap (https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1182929):

Couple JackPoint Jack Stands. About $360 shipped. These were the low profile, with matte finish.

Plan is to jack one side on the rear factory jack point. Then slide the JackPoint stand in on the rear, and one of my Esco stands under the front factory jack point. Then lower that side.

Repeat on other side. Result should be the car up on 4 stable factory points.

Thoughts?

Which jack you use? I was debating this vs quickjack. Neither is cheap but it seems the latter is a lot of work with very low profile cars.

How so? Our quick jack works great under my GTS.

I did the switch from Jack Points to Quick Jack and glad I did. Jack Points are great, but Quick Jacks are easier, better, faster -- but heavier.

I’m a fan of HF for light duty tools where it makes sense, so I’ll probably pick up one of these 3T Daytona models when they go on sale:
