I had the same questions about 991.2 wheels on a 991.1. I'm running 7mm spacers all around. Compared to the 991.1 Carrera Classics, the rear essentially stayed the same but the fronts extend out 2mm more. Not really noticeable. What is nice though is that these rears wheels are 1/2 inch wider than my old wheels and I'm running 305 rear rubber compared to original 295.

Thanks! Good to know in case I see a set of used 991.2 wheels I like at a good price.

This is on a narrow-body .1 right?

Anyone who thinks China doesn't copy things, and resell just doesn't understand how Chinese culture works. To them, IP is not a word, or something they understand. I also ride bikes, China has an entire underground coping industry. Many people unknowingly buy knock off stuff. Then it fails on them, and they try to get it warrantied, or go to the original company, only to be told they got a counterfeit. There are thousands of lawsuits on this.

Getting back on topic....
Added clear corner markers, as the orange didn't quite match the Lava Orange.
Put in some LWB seat bolsters.

Just picked up my 2012 991 Carrera S on Thursday, and the clear front marker lights were waiting on my doorstep when I got home, so swapped those out right away. I also installed an Anti Gravity lithium battery.

Old markers

Much better!

Nice looking LED lights.

Those wheels look great on your car. Nice way to change up the look.
