Took my car in for the winter wheels/tyres to be fitted. Dealer found a nail in a rear tyre. They quoted an outrageous £905 for a pair of new rear Pirellis = about $1,168.
I shopped around and found a set of four new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres for not much more than the price they had quoted me for the two rear Pirellis. A bit of haggling and they agreed to supply and fit the full set of new Michelin PS4S for £1,000 = $1,290. Result!

Found these on Rennlist, 75 miles on the set-up. Guy traded in his 911 turbo and he bought the wheels brand new from Porsche and had the tires mounted as his cold season set-up. He nor I ever intend to drive in snow, just want better cold season traction.
Couldn’t believe my eyes when they popped up, bought them instantly.
