Some green tape?

Actually just prep for my annual. end of winter uber-clean, polish, and seal (just a bit behind schedule today). This is always a multi-day process, from deep cleaning above and below to lots of detail work. Today, I got through clay bar, mild polish, and sealant.

Tire problem? Maybe a tire storage space problem.

I have 4 vehicles, and for 3 of them both summer and winter tires (and a 3rd offroad set for the Suburban). Plus a spare set of rears about to go on the 991.

Bought my 911 a plug/patch on the driver's rear tire

Picked up a screw in the middle of the tread.

Dealership 'snuck' it in for a repair. No issues at all

I see your tire plug, and I raise you (while driving to work this morning) a sidewall puncture, (resulting in a brown shorts moment at speed in traffic), plus three other tires and an oil change.

Has anyone put run flats on their 991? If you did, would you admit to doing so in this august forum??

Yeah, you win.

I was worried I would just have to replace one tire with 5500 miles on it

Thus the mental debate of do I replace all 4 now or just replace the 1.

Thankfully, that decision was made when it was repairable.

Run flat tires suck! Thick sidewall rough ride.

They offer a brutal ride.

Benefit is you have much less an issue with a proper blow out.

Have run flats on my wife's X3 and looking forward to replacing when worn.

Loving run flats on my BMWs. No changing tires or even pulling over in heavy traffic for me.

Nice! I know it's an expensive piece of plastic, but it does look great. Makes you feel good when you're filling up.
