Always curious about rock chip repairs - how visible are they under PPF once they are repaired? What's the price range of rock chip repairs?
I had J&B respray the front end, and so my expectation is it will look brand new. I bought the car with 29k on it, never had PPF, and with it being black, and living in an area where we have lots of sand and lifted Dodge Ram's, I needed it to cure my OCD.
The caliber of clients J&B gets and the work that they do is unreal. Nothing like pulling up in a 911 and having one of the cheapest cars in the shop.
About .75 lbs. Like I said, silly, but cool (in my head anyway...).
I know there was a "no" posted already, but I can only speak from my personal experience. I've used titanium bolts for well over 10+ years on over half a dozen cars, with at least a 1-2 track days a year and lots of weekend spirited canyon drives. I've never had an issue. With that said, I check them regularly given I probably remove all wheels at least once a quarter to clean rust and grime from the hubs and brake calipers. So when the wheels come off, I inspect them carefully and have never seen any signs of stretching and/or fatigue.
Ironically, as soon as burn through these pilot sport cup 2's, I plan on resetting with new black BBS FI R wheels. Also, do know that they will darken slightly over time. They are exceptionally "shiny" when new. They do offer a "darkened" version, but paying extra for that seemed even sillier to me than my already silly initial purchase.
Do they require different torque settings? What setting do you use? Thanks for the info. I just ordered a set.

I used the previous gen. torque setting of 96 ft./lbs. to account for the anti-seize compound I added to part of the threads. If you go dry, just use 118 ft./lbs. per the manual.

4 MP4S tires replacing P0. So far, very impressed. Very little tire skipping, softer quieter ride, and tremendous cornering grip.
This is very good to hear! Am getting my summer wheels put back on my Carrera T in 9 days, and they’ll be fitted with brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, replacing the previous Pirellis.

Guessing you won’t notice as you have done winter tyres between but I went from Pirelli to 4S on my T at 11k miles and immediately noticed that steering response was a litter softer, just not as immediate - not sure if the 4S have a softer sidewall maybe, or perhaps just the shape of the tyre and the Pirelli had a squarer edge? Traction is incredible though as is cornering grip for a road biased tyre. Be interested to hear your thoughts.
