My car was flagged for “Body work” in the port. My SA reaches out to find out why, and the response was there is nothing they know wrong with the car. My car was released for transport on Nov 1. Still wait for exit port status and dealer inventory status.
i fly out Sunday and return Friday. Hoping the car arrives, gets fully wrapped and new wheels before I return. 🤞

Shanghai Highway just departed Emden after only being there for about 24 hours ... clearly they don't waste much time to get stuff loaded up. Making a stop in Bristol on Monday before presumably heading out into the Atlantic. Won't be until Monday sometime that PCNA will update tracking status ... hopefully my status will change to V332 at that time (fingers crossed).

My base 911 Carrera arrived Emden yesterday. Based on the week 44 VW Export Schedule, I'm hoping it will be on the Siem Cicero, which departs Emden 11/5-6 and arrives JAX on 11/20, or Goodwood, which departs Emden 11/16-17 and arrives JAX on 11/29. I wonder why the Planned and Expected Schedules show my car being at Emden for 3 weeks before leaving for JAX? If it has to be at Emden that long it will not make either the Siem Cicero or Goodwood.

My expected schedule had mine at Emden for 3 weeks as well. Completion however occurred 9 days ahead of schedule and interestingly my original schedule had completion and entry into Emden on the same date. Really hoping mine gets on one of the next two boats that get to Emden and go to JAX.

I'm not sure what they'd install in port for roof racks on a 911 since the mounting tabs are kind of baked in to the roof under the weather stripping. I ordered my Macan with the roof rack, and in that case the rails are affixed to the roof (the cross members were delivered in their storage bag). Maybe they put my roof rails in place upon arrival in the port - but if so it didn't take very long; I was amazed at how fast the Macan made it from docking in Benicia to delivery in Seattle (3 days).

My SBA just dropped me an email confirming that my C2S is in fact on Shanghai Highway and on its way. For reference, my car reached Emden on 23 October so it sat there for over 10 days.

Thanks so much, guys, and congratulations on yours being on the boat, saundebn. Based on this information I'm guesstimating that MJG911's car will be on Siem Cicero and mine will be on Goodwood.
