We are in 2018 now and these cars are now a model year older than last year.
And it only makes sense that in general, the early 991's will be dropping in price as time passes.
I expect that prices will adjust accordingly in the market, eventually.

That made "sense" last year and it didn't happen. Used car pricing for so many cars makes no sense at the moment. Have you looked at Air-Cooled 911's?

Still waiting for the screaming deals to be listed.

Pricing? I would assume they would still slowly depreciate for 991.1's going forward. Depreciation does slow down considerably when you hit the $70K ranges. Not like there is a straight line to $0 as time goes on. It's a CURVE which gets flatter as time goes on.

Not trying to predict the future, just where the market is now. The market still looks pretty strong. Spring always means sales pick up.

That's why I wrote, " in general "
And yes I know about prices on air cooled 911's having owned three of them.
If you look at my avitar, you'll see the one I bought brand new.
The other thing that impacts price is when an item is no longer a commodity, and becomes more of a collectable.
Then prices do become unpredictable.
Good Luck!

911 prices will soften if/when the economy/markets crap out.

The catch though is that when/if that happens, many people who are interested today will somehow not end up buying one.

Slightly hard to compare air cooled cars to current gen 991s.

Here is a 2012 C2S at Carmax in Colorado Springs for $66,998. Someone has added the SPASM front lip.

Just noticed it has Carrera S wheels rather than the original Sport Design wheels. May be a story there...

Car appears to be in a little rough shape.

Why would anyone take off the silver trim pieces on the fans that have Carrera 3.8 on them??

Has a red key fob too.

Anyway, priced accordingly it seems.

In Colorado Springs. I'm sure someone here will check it out. Worth looking at.
