IMHO if those two cars are the consideration, you don’t know what you’re looking for. Figure out the car you want first then go out and find it.
The best “deal” is the car that best suits your tastes. Anything else is a waste of money.

Have you driven either flavor, or any 991s? You will probably prefer one over the other, so try to find locals to take you for a ride. You can try posting in your region's section on RL.

Tell us more about this special 991.1 (you don't have to give away any secrets if you haven't locked it down yet).
Congrats, looking forward to pics!

Here is another one from my "another planet".

$63,499, 29k miles, $123k build with PDCC, PDK, PSE, Sport Chrono
Loaded C2S models can be had in the low to high 60's; there is quite a lot of inventory on the market at this time. Over 1000 models on the CPO site alone. The local Portland dealer has 7 or 8 991.1 models: in the past 2 years, they have never had more than 3 at any one time, and during much of that time, they had exactly zero available to sell.

Now the anticipation in knowing which .1 it is.

dawgcatching, if you find nice cars POST them with a full proper listing. Let's keep the other noise out of here. The followers here want to see real cars for sale now. If you find some nice cars at a great price, post it. That's what we're about here.
Yes, higher mileage 991.1's can be had in the $60's. Nothing new here.
BTW, my cars.com searches show about the same # of S/4S/GTS cars available over the past year. Cars turn over, but steady # of total cars available for sale with slight fluctuations. Spring is here. The market should start picking up soon as weather warms up. Best time to buy is now.
Each car has its own story, so each one has to be evaluated on its own merit. Can't just make broad statements as there is no way they could apply to everything out there. We've seen a lot of abused cars that sit around at lower prices, and this is HFS where we've seen some real gems!

There was a loaded 2012 C2S at P-car Austin, sapphire, I linked here for $69,900k (every performance option, $120+ build, 19,000 miles). Also, a friend who works at Porsche San Diego sold an Aerokit cup 2013 C2S ($120k build, midnight blue) last month for $67,300. It was a manual, both were clean and no accidents. North Houston has that very clean C4S that was listed awhile back (also sapphire, loaded) and it went for mid 70's (the one with the carfax mixup); it was also pretty low mileage if I remember correctly, and a C4S is always more $ than a C2S.
So yeah, there are sub $70k, nice build, early 991 C2S CPO's out there. At least there were a month ago, but perhaps the market is strengthening as we move into spring (although none of the many early 991s on the forum listed in the past 3 weeks have gone sale pending).
