I talked with the guy at RAC(fashion gray car). The repair of the car was done by Porsche NA. I would guess it was a company vehicle. Still under warranty and factory repairs. I would not shy from it with a drive and inspection. Damage repair was front end related.

RAC had no explanation for the odd CarFax? what a bummer, because that is a sweet car!
I asked and the owner doesn't have any pictures/paperwork/repair info available. It is fishy...

I happen to be in Dallas on business and am hoping to see the Fashion Grey car today; I will report back if I do indeed make it there.

Wait and pay $10K more for another car?? Always a gamble. That's the fun of it. The reason why guys keep coming back here even after a purchase

Would a Porsche dealership know what happened if it was a company car?

I think it's unfortunate and very shady that the dealer (RAC) or owner isn't giving any specifics on this car. It's really disappointing.

If I was personally looking at it, I'd take it to a body shop and have them take off the bumper and inspect it. But if they were being this difficult as it seems, I would just tell them to screw off.

Also, if you could, find out how the paint color went from Red (on CarFax) to Fashion Grey. Did they repaint the entire car?

Could it be that this car was damaged at the delivery port during transit??

The car was never RED. Build sheet shows PTS.

So is this car on consignment?

** I emailed my insurance agent, and he says there's nothing they could pull up related to an accident. I sent out a few additional emails to see if I can dig anything up.

Just saw this post. Like I mentioned before, damage at the port or transit on the boat over??

You'd think in this day and age, you could get a simple answer about some car damage

I'm coming up with zero on it. The only way to get info would be to take it to a top notch body shop for a PPI if they're not cooperating.
