HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991
Intermediate
Congratulations! Especially being a GTS as your first Porsche! I knew that it had sold when Carmax didn't call back.
Glad to see it go to a good home. Hopefully I'll see it around HMB as I tend to go over the hill to run up and down the coast.
Good to know that it is possible to have a non-transferable car from SoCal moved up here. I'll keep that in mind.

STG hasn't mentioned this thread for awhile. So @Kunzjob, since you said you have been a lurker for awhile, you know what to do next. Of course, maybe wait for a sunny day

First off, I wanted to give a huge shoutout and thanks to a few members here. I’ve been lurking for years and finally decided to pull the trigger on my first Porsche. This thread has provided me hours and hours of research, knowledge, and fun to help with my search. Specifically @STG for starting the thread, @visitador for posting the car I eventually bought, and for @NorCalJCO for reserving and checking the car out before me then giving me first hand knowledge of it. I did purchase the GTS today from CarMax. It was originally down in SoCal and listed as no transfer available. However, after talking to them, I was able to have them transfer it up to the Bay Area for me to see. It took a few days to get here and a few more for me to move money around but today we finalized the deal. I’ll start my own thread at some point and post more pics. For now- thanks again and smiles to everyone!
@mariodesmo The GTS is mine!

I'm adding the VIN so we can keep this linked to the original post #14597.
Enjoy!

Hi Hot For Sales gurus,
Where would you put my 7MT C4S's value, roughly speaking?
https://admin.porschedealer.com/repo...AB2A93ES122192
126.6k MSRP, Feb'14 warranty start, CPO till Feb'20, 28k miles, I'm the second owner (got it at 9.6k miles), dealer serviced, every single possible paperwork available.

...just my opinion. 3 pedals (like mine) don't appeal to as many buyers, but when sought and found by the right buyer will sell well. Might take some extra marketing/advertising on your part.

Mid $70K's. It has 28K miles.
$84K-$88K is even high end dealer retail.

I was thinking mid to maybe high 70s as well. Good to know.

I was thinking asking price, and lower if you are thinking selling price. If you have a shorter time frame, then lower yet. I'm seeing dealers asking $90-95 for CPO 2015s, but they are typicaly lower mileage.

Business isn't stellar this year and we might be having kids sometime not in so distant future so I'm trying to get my bearings/frame of reference in case I am forced to sell it.

Continuing on trying to find a great deal. If you are into cabriolets and manual: WP0CB2A96CS155175

Porsche dealer in Lancaster PA. MSRP $130K, asking $73K, 20K miles. Got manual, SC, Burmester sound. Yachting Blue is an acquired taste though. Fan of Carrara White though. You may have to negotiate to get it CPO
