This car is really special and tempting but the price seems quite a bit too high. Great equipment, great mileage but no warranty. Thoughts?

I posted a few days ago. Nice build with a color combo that has a narrower market. Great find at the "right price".

I wouldn't worry that much about being out of warranty. Although at this price it would be sitting at a dealer with a warranty.

Agreed. Isn't paint-to-sample typically a 100% depreciation option for the original owner?

On a Carrera, pretty much all depreciation. A GT car will get a premium, but with now more $$, PTS will maybe get cost recouped at resale.

Agree. Mine is a 2015 C2S also with nice options and CPO warranty thru 3/18/2021. At 8700 miles, I'd gladly sell for that price, if trying to sell.

^^^ I think that has been one of the highest mileage 991 cars that I have seen for sale. Good thing is it has 1 and half year of CPO left

Yeah, I haven't seen many 2012's with that kind of mileage but man what a nice spec. He's pretty close to me if any potential buyers want me to put eyes on it.

I just wanted to stop by and take a moment to thank everyone here and especially STG for helping me figure out that I needed to stay NA.

Long story short, I havent owned a Porsche since I bought a brand new Carrera-2 back in 1990 that I sold after 5 years.
I was in the market for a new 991, but came across a low mileage (1,250) GT4 with a CPO from a local dealer in Nov.

Am super happy with my choice and there isnt a day that doesnt go by where I dont learn something
new about the car that gives me a huge grin on my face. In any event, the bottom line is that
when a car "speaks" to you, just go out and get it!

Thanks again to STG and everyone else here.
NA rules!

Not a SUPER-hot price, but in the current market if you are looking for a stick shift coupe, this one looks pretty tasty.

2012.5 C2S

  • Miles 24K
  • Sticker: 122K
  • Ask: $72K ($50K / 41% off original sticker)

No pictures up yet, and I know the red interior can be a bit polarizing, but I bet this car is gorgeous.

Congrats! I just picked up a CPO 997.2 C2S, but that is what I would like to get into in 5 years or so.
