Long story short, I havent owned a Porsche since I bought a brand new Carrera-2 back in 1990 that I sold after 5 years.
I was in the market for a new 991, but came across a low mileage (1,250) GT4 with a CPO from a local dealer in Nov.

Am super happy with my choice and there isnt a day that doesnt go by where I dont learn something
new about the car that gives me a huge grin on my face. In any event, the bottom line is that
when a car "speaks" to you, just go out and get it!

Thanks again to STG and everyone else here.
NA rules!

GT4 seems like a great ride. Have never driven one, but looks like would be a blast. Congrats and glad you found something that makes you happy Must sound amazing. Did drive a GTS once, but the GT4 is a whole other level.

Well done and congrats!

It’s addictive to rev these glorious N/A’s out. I can imagine the GT4 is especially a treat.

Thanks K-A.
As you well know, your thread about your test drive of the new 991.2 really helped me in my decision as well.
In fact, I think that your thread and driving impressions in that regard should be made a sticky.

As for my GT4.... when I jump on the throttle on a freeway on ramp in 2nd gear, the engine lets out a really low "growl" that reminds me of one of those 6.3 liter Chevy V-8's that were put into a Spice chassis for the IMSA GTP series back in '89. - - -Think Wayne Taylor, Tommy Kendall, Bob Earl, etc.

The car flat out hunkers down with a visceral feel that makes me count my lucky stars every time I drive it!

Without the accident and mileage, I would think a car optioned like that could command high $80s. I'd think he can probably get within $3-4k of his ask price.

$75K or so. The X51 doesn't really return much at resale. Miles are a big factor here as is accident. Would need to have someone pull bumper off and investigate too. Maybe he has pics and documentation? Still, CarFax ding is never good and reduced value.

Great looking car though. Sweet build. Not a wiper fan, but some are. I'd get a new rear window with no hole.

So, the 68K miles well equipped car sold for $62K on ebay. Maybe that is the benchmark for a high mileage well-equipped 991.1 S?

The reserve was NOT met and didn't sell.

The bidding just maxed out at $62K.

Most likely people think $62K is the max for a high mileage car

It's ebay bidding speaking. The high bidder likely bid much higher, but without a challenging bid nobody knows. He was asking $66k. If the seller had a clue he'd have it up on BaT and it would be gone in a week.
