STG's post 14638 and 14639 are two HSF cars. I would go with 14638 even though the dealer does not know the difference between a manual and a PDK. 14638 has most of the important performance options that people here like. 14639 has CPO and PCCB. I think PCCB is not necessary in this class of cars (unless you are into tracking). Luxor Beige is a color that you either love or hate (love it in my 958, not so sure in a 991)

Some prefer PCCB since it produces virtually no brake dust and the rotors last the life of the car under normal use.

I would only have luxor with a 2-tone interior black dash and carpet. Light colored carpet is too much effort to keep clean.

Seeing this makes me feel even better about the CPO 2015 C2S I'm checking out on Saturday. I personally don't put a lot of value on the Sport Design package. It's cool I guess but it's not worth paying a premium for it.

I think I'd want SPASM without PDCC or PASM with PDCC, but not SPASM with PDCC.

My take:

SPASM w/o PDCC = pure sportscar. Stiff springs, no artificial PDCC feel, slightly more comfortable in soft setting.

PASM w/ PDCC = more comfortable ride with the slightly softer PASM springs, but cornering capability significantly enhanced with the PDCC system, arguably with a bit of artificial PDCC feel that some do not like.

SPASM w/ PDCC = Performance yes, but has both the artificial feel disadvantage of PDCC and less comfortable ride disadvantage of SPASM.

Now lets talk about torque vectoring.... :-)
Our C2S cab has PASM-PDCC. The feel is significantly tighter than a 997.2 C2S with PASM and Eibach lowering springs. The latter feels more old-school and wild.

That place you linked above (Scottsdale Auto Group) has a bunch of crummy reviews online. Beware! It might be one of those dealers that has sketchy cars that they don't come clean on when discussing history.

Most would disagree - completely transforms the car and the driveability is increased exponentially with the added aerodynamics

Would love to see your data sample that supports "most"

We will never settle this debate here. Better left for elsewhere. The Aero packages including the Sport Design bumper have been stated by Porsche at having better aerodynamics/downforce.

Now .... being in a situation and having the drivers skill to maximize that is another story.

Actually you’re not correct because I’ve gotten some supercomputer modelling time and generated a lifelike rendering of what the Aero package rear bumper would look like if it produced true noticeable downforce:

Hello All!

Although I don't think my recent 911.1 purchase appeared on this HFS thread, I still wanted to stop in & say thanks to STG & everyone else who has contributed to this thread since it's inception. I have been a silent lurker for the past year or two checking in almost daily as I have been learning more about P cars, specs, pricing etc.. I found my car online but still recognize that I have learned a bunch from you guys by reading your posts each week.

I have posted a not so brief story on my purchase & journey in getting my 911 spec. Feel free to check it out. https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1056...say-hello.html

Agreed. Just like paint color it comes down to personal preference and the value an individual places on it. There is no right or wrong answer.
