cpbmd, can we let this thread to find "hot for sale models" so that others can benefit from the forum wisdom? If you want to ask opinions on options you are considering, there are other ways to ask... just saying
This thread seems like a fine place to ask if a deal is HFS worthy or not.
This thread seems like a fine place to ask if a deal is HFS worthy or not.
There is a difference between "I found a HFS deal, what do you think?" and showing the actual car info and "I am looking at this deal, is this a good price?" and not providing the info on the car in order to avoid others to buy it...
Sorry guys. This is a great thread. I didn’t mean to go off topic or clog up the thread. I’ll stop.
I think the point was more to post up more complete info on the cars than to have you stop posting...Lots of folks here are very willing to help, we just like to see VIN, pictures, price, mileage, and usually a link to the car. That way the information becomes useful not only to current buyers, but as a historical record of cars that have come through HFS. Sometimes we see the same car pop back up several years later!
If your worried about someone stealing your find, I can understand your hesitation, but your more likely to find a good deal here or identify a not-great deal than have someone snipe you.
We'd love to see what you find and give feedback, just more info.
Very similar to my 2015, except mine is Guards Red /Black.
How many miles on this one?

Thanks for the clarification. I appreciate it. I will be more complete with the info. I am not concerned about someone getting the deal from me. There are lots of cars to choose from. I am trying to learn what to look for an how to evaluate a car. I didn’t realize that posting the dealership was important but I guess it is since some dealerships may have a better reputation than others. Also I have no idea how to post pictures of the car or pictures of the build sheet. I’ll try to figure that out.
Thanks for the advice. I will see if I can edit my posts adding more info.

That is fine. Should I list my question of specific cars that I am considering purchasing in the general forum? Is this the" other way" that you were referring to? I don't see another place to post specific car purchase questions.
@cpmd yes, asking questions in the general 991 forum about a specific car is absolutely fine, many do it. and a free tip? knowing the car’s original msrp and tying that together with (lease) depreciation rates is a quick and easy way of determining a car’s worth, today.

+991, and I would suggest looking at this thread...
This 2016 C4S isn't a low priced 991.1, but my guess is you won't find a better deal on such a nicely optioned CPO 991.1 C4S with only 950 miles.
