When we ordered a 2015 Cayman S for my wife, we priced it out at $71k MSRP, paid $66k (before tax, of course). Biggest ticket item was the leather interior at $2,520. In hindsight we should have sprung for the Comfort package for the better seats and the automatic climate control.

Not to be rude .... but all this 718 chatter may be better suited for that forum. I'd rather read up on the livestock market at this point or count floor tiles.

So, if I'm doing the basic math correctly: he owned it for a year, put 7,500 miles on it, and should come out $5K to $10K ahead for his trouble (excluding any maintenance, of course).

What a crazy market this is right now!

Needless to say, I found a KILLER deal last JUNE. Asking and selling $$$ aren't always the same, but this car was a great buy and will be an inexpensive year of driving.

The HFS formula is a good one. Imagine him buying a new car last year. He'd be $25K ++ in the hole.

This was me having some fun last weekend LOL...

I actually took photos of mine with cows today (I'm serious!). Stopped at an ice cream shop in the country this afternoon and there was a field of cows right behind us!
