Private seller: Agate Grey - 2012 C2S w/ 8,700 miles
Asking $74,900 (recent price drop)

MSRP: $131,580.00 Interior: Carrera Red Leather

Comes w/ lots of options including SC, PSE, PDCC w/ PASM, and more (including PSP )

Looks like the owner currently has it wrapped in Matte White, so might be a dice roll on original paint + clear coat condition.
I have had my eyes on this for a while but wrap/original paint/clear coat condition holding me back... why did he have to put on a wrap!

I think this car (or an exact clone) was listed on Autotrader in the DC/VA area a while ago. Had an accident reported on CarFax. Anyone else see that? Or am I just confused??

I have to give credit to where it's due. These three HFS followers have earned their doctorate degree here and are now HFS PhD's. Anyone seeking advice from them is in VERY good hands. We have a great group of contributors here, and it's great that we have such knowledgeable followers here.

For someone looking for cheap(er) white manual 7MT with 50k miles in the bay area this looks nice:
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/6065741159.html

Or similar with half the miles further north:

Ditto. Of course it's the (seemingly endless) hunt that keeps our skills sharp!

Both of those would be interesting to me if they were S models, but 'NSH' for base models. (Not So Hot).

But keep 'em coming... Let's see more manual coupes!

Yeah, don't disappear after you find your cars though.

If you look at it and decide not to buy it for yourself, would you mind reporting back, maybe with better photos?

Platinum grey is a light grey, a bit like chalk. Picks up dirt easily and looks dirty with very little absolute dirt. The two-tone leather with the white dials probably looks great when not dirty.

Keep in mind that factory warranty is gone.
I had a platinum grey interior in my first 991S. It was more brownish grey than I expected. It didn't seem too light but it did show any dirt/stains easier than my current black. Hard to keep immaculate. Overall it wasn't too bad. I'm not a grey person and I found that I liked it better than I expected but still not my first choice on interiors.

That being said, that interior on that CARMAX car does look beat on - and CARMAX doesn't have great photos to begin with. It might look even worse in person.

The wrap would really put me off. The only exception would be if I knew the seller and the history of the car first.

You are too kind, LOL! It helps that I am now on my second 991.1S, both bought used or CPO!

I've learned a lot from buying and owning two 991S's and I've learned a ton from Rennlist (and this thread), too!

Still LOVE my baby! Puts a smile on my face every time I drive it!

Yeah, of the two this one looks a lot nicer. Seems every Porsche I like is in CA.
