What's everyone's thought on this car? It is CPO with what I was told an expensive msrp.

Ha too funny. I just had it on a test drive and it definitely is a 991 GTS.

I feel it may be a overpriced in comparison to others on porsche used car finder with prices closer to the 110-120

Gorgeous car, but I think the price is a bit more of a 'NHFS' deal...

IMHO It's a car one would buy because they love it, not because it's a hot deal. Keep the GT4!

Yes, this dealer will be taking care of this one a long time at this price. Most of the great GTS deals are had around the $110-115K range.

Agreed. He's barely discounting the car despite the 7k miles. Probably hoping an enthusiast really, really wants a 3.8L in red.

Somewhat apples and oranges, but I've been messing around on the Porsche configurator for the 991.2 GTS, and my builds consistently come out in the 140s. Would be hard to sell that 991.1 in the 130s, IMHO. .

GT4 is staying for sure, the GTS would be in addition. Essentially the 911 is the cruiser to the gt4 canyon carver/track car.

i agree that it's priced about 15ishk too high and I'm considering making an offer at around 113. I'm well known to the dealer and am currently on their .2 Gt3 list. This car would obviously take me off of it.

STG, you mentioned a few days back, I think, that there is a 997 version of the HFS thread. Do you happen to have a link handy? Ran some searches but not finding it. TYIA!

Squid42 started it:

It's no HFS , but a good thread

77Tony has a 928 one too:

The 997 thread doesn't have the iron discipline that this one has. Not too many buildsheet images posted. I think on balance we like it that way, it means people don't hammer the buildsheet server too much and some of us go in every now and then and add details.

997 cars are also harder to judge for HFS-ness because very few are CPO now and the state of the car can be much more random due to age. Still, some pretty things in there, including the GTS cars, and manual Turbos

I saw this one in person last week, thanks to Chris and Nick at Motorcar Studio in Atlanta. Good guys, car guys, selling the 991S on consignment for a good customer. I passed on it, did not meet my (high) standards for cosmetics, blemishes in clear bra on nose, chips in hood paint, passenger door did not line up on close (probably a simple latch adjustment). Needs front rotors, rear tires, and 30K service. Accident repair was done very well, not visible to me at all. Probably worth 60-62 IMHO, but not for me.
While in Atlanta put a deposit on a 2013 Base coupe, Red/Black, 7MT, PSE, SPASM, PTV, Sport Chrono, Premium Package +, 14 way seats, PDLS, 33k miles, CPO through May 2019.
Pick it up this week, Happy Camper!

The majority of that stuff needs to be done prior to listing if it's to be sold from any reputable business.
