Oh any 911 in the US that has a rear wiper has probably been owned by him
And if at some point, if the dealer and/or PCNA did manage to accurately diagnose his problems as related to an aftermarket alarm, they wouldn't have bought the car back to begin with.
Nick was too patient with them anyway. If I had a car with that many problems, I wouldn't care if it was built by the ghost of Enzo Ferrari himself. I'd move on from the car, and the marque.

I'm back in for my search since my last deal fell through.
Thoughts on this car?
It looks nice and is a decent price, but the CarFax seems weird. Two dealers had the car as a CPO for about 2 - 3 months, but then sold it at auction.
Then it looks as though it went to Ontario and is now for sale in FL (again - the two dealerships were located in FL too).

You were working a deal on the Miami Blue base 7mt car, right? I was wondering why it was still on the market. What went wrong, if you don’t mind me asking? ———edit—-Never mind, saw your other thread.
I saw this article yesterday, which may explain why I’ve had no luck in negotiating prices with dealers lately. Essentially, most dealers were wary of buying inventory at the beginning of the pandemic. Factories shut down, so very few new cars in the pipeline. Demand has stayed unexpectedly high and put upward pressure on used car prices. I’m thinking the next couple of months will normalize supply and pricing will get better. I’m trying to be patient.

I’ve seen all his videos and never heard him talk about an aftermarket alarm. He had a radar detector, and a dash cam If I recall correctly. He also stated both of those were disabled early on in the diagnosis process.

You are correct, some cars that seem to be way out of line price wise are gone pretty quickly. It certainly surprises me too.
I'm looking for the needle in a haystack with a manual coupe. I'm looking for a driver, not a car with 5,000 miles on it that costs close to $90+K.
If anyone sees anything that's $80k or below. Not a stripper, but doesn't have to be highly optioned either. Trying to not do white or black if I can help it. Yes, black looks stellar, but I'm just not that into it. I'd have to get the car wrapped.

Hey Guys! I'm very excited to be joining the ranks again and was curious to see how my deal ranked..
I just picked up (shipping to me as we speak) a 2012 (991) Carrera S MT with 35k miles on her.
Options include:
It was VERY hard finding a MT .1(must be NA) with the options I wanted(or close to it)...
The only option i didnt get that i wanted was SPASM, but i just ordered the Bilstein B16 kit for it, so all is well.
I really didnt care about having the vented seats or metal sunroof, but it didnt detract me either.
I'm coming from a 2020 BMW M2 Competition. Great car, but i missed NA/MT and that car has abit more weight than i liked.

^post some pics! Welcome! Sounds like a nice ride. If it has the options and specs you want and your happy with what you paid that’s all that matters. The good ones go fast!
i heard the m2 cs was fun, but also heard it weighs more than it should.

And yeah, the M2 really is fantastic car and probably the last great BMW before they all have AWD and Torque converter automatics.
Yep! Great spec.
