The American cars will affect used pricing here as someone will import them in the future.

I know Vancouver got five cars, all in Geyser Grey. I'm not sure about what transmission, but the first car that we got was PDK. Mine was the second and is 7MT.

I heard the first batch (or atleast the show/demo cars) everywhere were PDK. It would be nice to get a few more Canadian cars on the register to get a better picture of 50th in Canada.

Hey guys - another Canadian here. I don't have my 1963# yet, but delivery will be in the next week or so. It was to board the train in Halifax Friday. I got the third last of the 50s at 5% off of MSRP, as the final 8 in Canada moved slowly (I was lurking a lot). I'm in the registry, and I'll update with info and pics soon.

Calgary sold 9 of the 50. I know of two geyser, two graphite (incl mine) and a black. Seemed like 50% were MT.

Great post Mondrian. Loving your posts too Richard.

You didn't put your limited edition number on the registry so please add when you know what it is.

Porsche have officially confirmed that 50th anniversary has sold out (we knew that some weeks ago). Here is the article, BTW I don't think the car advertised as LE no 1 is for real as I came across this car a couple of weeks ago and emailed the seller to verify it - they never got back to me & also the car was up for standard price which would be crazy! Unfortunately there is a lot of mis-information & mis-representation of these cars by dealers, I have outlined some of the cases I came across below;
http://www.autoevolution.com/news/po...out-82352.html

1 - A dealer has listed 4 x 50th cars for sale but only one is available
2 - A dealer has advertised a car which is actually a customers custom order and on a ship on its way to states.
3 - There are quite a few cars advertised worldwide (in different countries) as 50th but they are standard 911, some may have options similar to the 50th anni option pack (fr & re park sensors, heated seats ...)

If you do an on-line search in states you come across 40-50 cars of which 20% are not even 50th, and around 40% are cars that are already sold ......... I am guessing there is around 15-20 cars left in states!

The LE Nr 0000 car at the museum was Graphite, not Geyser (just to be OCD, as you are keeping the stats); here is the picture of it with my Geyser car parked next to it:

Here's a picture of LE Nr 0013, German plates, which did the rounds of Cdn and US dealers last summer - a Geyser car with Agate/Pepita interior, LED headlights, SC (but no Powerkit), 7MT.

So China treats Porsches like gold, keeping import numbers secret, eh?

Martin: The LE nr 0000 50th might be a one of several prototypes and not officially counted as a production vehicle (of the total 1963). I know that the 918 Spyder I photographed on displayed at the Zentrum at The Thermal Club test drive day had LE nr 000 and it was for sure a prototype that will not be counted towards the total 918 production totals PAG expects to build of that model. My understanding is that no production vehicle of a Limited Edition can have a LE nr of complete zeros sequence. Did someone officially told you, or anyone else, that particular car nr 0000 was a 'production' model & is to be kept by the Porsche museum or elsewhere at PAG?

Saludos,
Eduardo

Vic-50, I am with Eduardo on this but I was hoping for a chance to talk to you as I had seen your pic of the Graphite too and wondered what the number was but also I had seen a pic of the Geyser & it was 0000, did you see that one at the museum too?

Thanks for the media number you provided, obviously there are quite a few media cars so will be nice to add them to the file, have to check but I think the no i put down was from the A911 geyser that was doing the UK media rounds (RHD).

Chuck, Galion. Those numbers are the cars I have tagged in my file & not actual sales figures. The number has risen so now I have around 235 (was 205). I have however done an estimation of allocation for various porsche sales regions - it's based on 2013 911 sales figures so will publish that tomorrow. Unfortunately Porsche have not released specific country figures for South America but if you can find out from Porsche Brazil then it would be super.

Eduardo, I agree. I posted this to correct the colour for Mondrian who has included it in his stats. It would have been interesting to check the LE Nr on the 50th Anniversary car displayed at the factory in Leipzig - it was in Geyser Grey.
Also, as an interesting side note, we were told by the dealership the Nr 0013 car on display in Victoria was a "pre-production" vehicle (hence were not permitted to sit in it).
Cheers, Martin

Did you not see a geyser 50th at the museum, was it just the Graphite?

I got the number from another visitor to the Museum who had a picture of geyser and the LEN.

Agreed - it likely is a pre-production or prototype car.
We saw the Graphite car I photographed next to mine in the parking garage; it was definitely numbered 0000 as my previous picture shows. We saw no other 911_50 on display or nearby (there was an original gen car with 50th decals on it, on display in the museum, with a space beside it - I had assumed the space was for a 911_50, perhaps the Graphite car in the parking garage which might have been removed from display temporarily for use elsewhere).
In hindsight, I am disappointed I didn't check the LE number of the Geyser car on display at Leipzig - I was a bit distracted with excitement about my delivery -perhaps a Rennlister going for factory delivery there can check?

Ok checked my records, It's in bay 022 in same parking lot, reg S GO 1963 (also appears in Porsche publicity pics) parked next to a red 997 GT3 with a Porsche museum plate on it.

Can upload the pics if I knew how!
