50th Anniversary sales stats/colour/PDK

All I know is, if someone offered me piles of cash to buy mine, it would have to be at least double of what I paid for it to even consider it. That being said, I'd probably hold on to it even then. I do love the car.

I don't consider an additional $10k to be heavily optioned either (not even close, in fact), though in the context of a car like the 911_50 or the GTS that already comes with several options as standard (including some otherwise costly ones), an additional $10k in options does take on a somewhat different meaning. I still wouldn't call it *heavily* optioned, I suppose, but it's certainly closer than if we were talking about a C2S. Your car is pretty loaded between the options you selected and what the base 911_50 was already bringing to the table, right down to the painted key and CD changer.

Bacura, I was so deep in my stats (colours/pdk/sunroof) that I must have missed this - what the hell did you put on your car - it must be the highest optioned 911-50 in the world. We need pictures, lots of them.

Nice options list but still really surprised that added up to so much - mind you I never really looked into the cost of various options except additional leather details & the Burmester which I really really wanted but never had a choice in the end. Would love to see pics of your 50th with SPASM & PCCB (& one of Burmester too).

I'm terrible at pics but I do believe it is the most heavily optioned.....for sure in Canada. If it is the most heavily optioned in the world I'm not sure that is something to be proud of. I would have chosen the 18 way seats as well but I'm a big guy and the 14 way were more comfortable.

While I was collecting info for the stats I looked at a lot of 50th at dealers in various countries; In USA cars were pretty much all listed between $130 – $150k, UK was £100 – £110k & Germany I think around the €125 – 140k mark. So in this context I thought of cars with $10-15k options as high option. However since my comment I have come to realize that perhaps what I have seen on the forecourts may not be the norm due to MRM value which was also a new term for me!
I have never bought a car on lease or finance in my life so not familiar with all that it entails. For the record (& those like me who are not familiar with MRM) maximum residual value is the residual value set by Porsche finance so whatever option is added above this value it is not residualized ... meaning that if value of car exceeds this amount the additional cost comes out of your pocket dollar for dollar which over a 24 month lease adds $374 a month to your payment for a car with a value of around $9k above this value (according to Bret @ sonnen)! Of course I am aware that majority of purchases are leased (or financed) and both dealers & buyers take this into account when ordering cars. So one would not expect to see a highly optioned car in a showroom as dealers will be limiting the potential customer base to non lease customers & those willing to pay for the addition per above terms.
So now I realize that $10-$15k would be a low option car for the rest but probably a high option for a lease customer ……….. learn something new everyday, thanks for pointing that out guys – does anyone know what the MRM was on 50th?
As for Bacura – even with my new found knowledge I would say Bacura’s car is not fully optioned but exceptionally optioned, the only other 50th that I know on par is London911‘s car– no idea what the options added totalled but X51 was an option in UK and he had it as well as the desirable Burmester & fancy leatherworks too, in case you hadn’t noticed I have a very selective memory in that I only register details that I am interested in at the time!

As it of interest to you, my 50th is very lightly optioned. I bought it impulsively off the lot.
Sunroof in glass
Power steering plus
Pdk
I think that's it. All the other stuff like 14 way seats, sport chrono etc are all standard I think.
I often wonder why the dealer built such a lightly optioned 50th.
Perhaps that was why it sat on lot for a long time and I was able to buy it below msrp.

Option package may vary in some countries. Some are "free" but the stripper price is higher:
i.e. swiss base price (VAT 8% included) was CHF 162'800 ($172'568) but with 744 ext. warr. 2+2, P5Y Swiss package (cruise ctrl, PCM+nav., TPM, heated seats, dimming mirrors+rain sensor, 636 frt+rear parksensors).
I added CHF 17'100.- ($18'126) :XYB fuel cap, 567 darkened windshield , 625 entry&drive, 640 Sport Chrono plus, 658 Power steering plus, CEE Rear Footwell Lighting, 630 Light Design Package, CPE Leather Key Pouch, CVW Rear-View Mirror in Leather, XNS Steering Column Casing in Leather, XNG Instrument Surround in Leather, 691 DAB, 680 Bose, 619 Bluetooth GSM, Z limitation number
Full price was CHF 179'900 ($190'694) minus a few % off, because I'm cool :-) .
Here a full option 911 50 would have been: CHF 247'400 ($262'400).

With hindsight I would lose the painted headlamp cleaning system as the chrome looks great on these cars, also the leather rear view mirror (but all other extra leather comes automatically with contrast stitching, is very visible, and looks just great IMHO) and maybe even the PDCC (not sure either way on that one to be honest)
Some of these came with it and some options here in the UK.
Cheers
