I think we want to know if you are going to get another 991, or moving on to another brand.

In the end TV and Radio were wanting to get involved as well and it had frankly gotten a lot bigger than I had ever expected so I was glad to get the call.

This started because PCNA were offering me what they thought I would get in arbertation which is the standard offer for these sorts of cases, where as my position was that I felt what I had been through was more than just a standard case and wanted a full refund or replacement. People can decide themselves if they agree or not.

I can certainly see PCNA's point of view and I hope they could see mine. The difference between what was offered and what I wanted was just a few thousand dollars.

It certainly was not worth the mess that this all turned into sadly.

Anyway they have not bribed me or asked me take down the video or anything and because they came to the party and I do still believe in their product I am happy to make a new video saying so. Also to thank everyone for all your support.

I did not want to damage the brand, and I think I need to help people understand that my case was pretty much a one off. Too much hate has been thrown at Porsche for the wrong reasons here and I would like to do what I can to fix that. Their product is good, I just had a disagreement with them over how serious my particular case was. That has been fixed now and I can move on to a new car.
Congratulations! Hopefully you can now put this all behind you and get to enjoying a new 991 sooner rather than later.

Someone mentioned that this all started with after-market mods that you had initiated - and then things rollercostered from there - I think you owe it to everyone who has sympathized with you so far to come clean with any modifications you had made to the car since your purchased it - and I mean aftermarket mods. Otherwise, there'll be strong credence to the opinion that you simply manipulated public opinion when things went wrong after you performed some after-market mods.
I doubt his rack, radar detector or dashcams had anything to do with the issues he's having.

Thanks for that. So what's next corvette c7?

Seems like a stand up guy, just wanted what he put in. Nothing more nothing less.
All of us here would have waned the same, Nick just had a better plan than Porsche to get full compensation.
Congrats Mr. Murray!

Congratulations, Nick.

Now...on to the the new car. I have seen all your fine videos. And in one of them you were particularly smitten by a vehicle manufactured right here in Northern California. Do you have this under consideration?

Congrats Nick

I got a few squeaks in my car from day one I was scared to have dealer massing with it and after your ordeal I feel like it was right in thing to so. I originally joined RL trying to sort it out

It took me 3 month to get dealer to have brake pads replaced. that was the worst of the of the noises. Horribly embarrassing loud squealing was coming from front brakes, at the stop light ppl were turning heads looking for a POS. the rest I can live with.

Go for The New Acura NSX, R8 or GTR

It is a shame to loose you as a Porsche owner

Hey, for all we know, PCNA has decided to take his lemon back and give him a brand new 911 with no cost to him.

Thing is, until he says something, we don't know how this resolved.

Hey Nick, care to put some resolution to this?

I believe he said he was working on a new video to explain what happened.

Guess that's easier than typing a one word sentence to put this all to bed

True, but I get the sinking feeling that part of whatever "resolution" Nick got from the boys over at VW/Porsche will include a Non-Disclosure lockdown that will keep him from giving us the real truth.

I suspect that's why he's not posted what happened and is waiting to do a video instead.

Oh well. At least he made some noise and got some justice of some kind it seems

Agreed. It seems some people have taken this way too far. One swallow does not a summer make. And one lemon does not negate the best iteration of the most iconic sports car in history. Sorry to say, but some people have taken Nick's story and run races with it that just don't exist. As I just posted in the amusing thread about 991 owners not being real 911 enthusiasts, it seems that some people are rather hypersensitive and quick to put fallacious inductive reasoning into overdrive.

Like thinking the 991 is the best iteration of the 911 ever?
