991 50th anniversary model

The demo car (geyser grey) equipped with 5mm spacer in front. So it might be included from the factory, or the production front wheels may have different offsets to not requiring spacers (just a guess). The rear does not need one.

A430v, thanks for posting. I have been told the same thing and I have not heard of any dealers in the Southwest or Southeast US learning their allocations or build dates. Has anyone else in the US been provided with formal allocation numbers or actual build dates?

^^ My dealer just called me and said they got their first allocation. My build will be around October, scheduled delivery toward end of November. This is near Washington DC.
I'm not sure if it's a gradual roll out from east to west, if so then January for the west coast sounds reasonable. I wonder if it'll be officially classified as a 2014 or 2013?

I'm in Tucson and I managed to get my 911-50 ordered Aug 2nd. I was quoted December-January delivery date. I'm actually surprised they could even get me the allocation.

NeoGeo7 - congrats on the allocation. There must be some degree of a regional rollout.
I wonder if it is based on region or dealer volume (higher volume - first allocations??).
Rsdarcan - Based on the dates that you provide, I would question if your dealer has received its allocation yet. The delivery date sounds too far away as evidenced by NeoGeo7's dates and others outside the US who have posted build + delivery dates. In the end, does not really matter as long as you get the allocation
I would appreciate it if others would post information regarding when you get allocation and build date information. Thanks

I have a bit more specific dates now: the build will be 10/25 and projected delivery is one month out, so very near Thanksgiving
The allocation may be done by dealer volume and performance. My dealer sells quite a few GT cars and was confident enough (in regard to allocations) that they have taken 7 GT3 deposits and plan to deliver on all of them.
Maybe Sonnen Porsche can chime in about allocations. Also it will certainly depends on where you are on the dealer's list. My salesman told me the guys #6 and #7 on the GT3 list won't get theirs until at least the second half of 2014.

I was at Pebble Beach the other day and was shown the Geyser/pepita model they have there and was very surprised how great it looks in person - the Geyser has a very metallic essence to it that I did not see or appreciate in photos. In my opinion, it is just gorgeous. The metal 911-50 elements are also really tasteful, and the wheels are also much better in person. The pepita is also very striking and a very cool option. All in all, a great package that I would jump on were I not getting a GT3. Just my 2 cents...

NeoGeo7 - thanks for the additional information. Your comment regarding where you are on the allocation list is very accurate. The only difference is that some GT3 customers will be getting 2015's but the 50th customers will be getting 2014's. Some allocations will come later in the year.
JCBH - thanks for the description. Did it appear gray or silver to you? If so, any comparisons to any other colors presently available? Looks very whitish or egg shell in pictures. Do you have any pics? Did they have one in graphite gray? Thanks.

Hard to describe but very pretty in person. Kind of egg shell actually but the metallic element gives it a nice depth. No pics as it was hidden away. This was the only one they had.

Both of my first allocations are October builds for my guys. Here is the response I received on the PTS for the 50th:
"The order guide for the 911-50 only mentions the three existing colors and the product management in Germany doesn't seem willing to change this. We are already collecting requests from customers for Paint-to-Sample, but it is very unclear at this point, if a release of that option can be achieved.
The problem is that general requests don't really help, but we would need commission numbers for the orders and customer names (ideally with an email stating that they want the car (only) in their color of choice which is not one of the three).
But again, even this might not help to convince PAG to allow Paint-to-Sample on the 911-50.
There you have it fella's. Anyone who has an order for the 50th needs to submit the request with a commission number for PAG to take it seriously....and even then it may not happen. Any questions please email me.
