Porsche will present a 50th anniversary edition of the 911-year anniversary of the classic sports car in September at the IAA 2013. With the limited special series on 1963 models Porsche refers to the year of birth of the 911 - a few car models in the world can look back on such a long and especially continuous history. The Porsche 911 has remained largely true to itself to the current generation (991). With the boxer engine in the rear and the typical body design, the essential ingredients of that time are still on board. And the anniversary model still come a few historical details added, for example in the interior: the fabric center panels of the partial leather seats wear the "Pepita" check pattern - a typical design in the 60s, the label of the instruments is like 50 years ago in Green maintained. And the special 20-inch wheels cite the classic Fuchs wheels, one of the most popular extras of the first two generations of 911.

really digging the seats. I wish I could order those on a regular 4S. The interior as a whole is really nice. Not really feeling the wheels though.

porsche is so good at making us spend our money!

Porsche is the ultimately advertising company and they are very successful at it.

This 50th does look quite nice!

Wow! Just a classy 991.

If I had the money I'd love to nab one. The seats - perfect. The wheels - perfect. The color - Amazeballs!

There will be 1963 lucky owners.
