Just buy what you like, and don't worry about resale. If it is a novel combo you may be inclined to keep it longer because you have personalized it.

Two cents though...Dubai = Hot. Maybe a lighter interior for practical reasons? Love both exterior colors and in each case would go with black painted rims.

Then you should own a carrera gts as they come with black painted rims standard I think.

Agree about light interior in hot climate, but only biege wud fit that criteria and I want something different from my current car biege interior.

The new Gray is fairly light... that's what Porsche chose for their Yellow showcase car, check some pics maybe that could be a good compromise.

I am willing and happy to get black interior even in a hot climate, I don't think it's that big an issue. This thread indicates that black is the best combo with guards red or yellow ext. I am still marginally in favor of red. When I was a student I did own a red pontiac for a few years, but have yet to own a yellow car.

Does the 991 have cooled seats?

I have black leather in my new Explorer, with cooled seats, and it rocks!

If you look at 911 inventories at US dealerships they are indeed 80% black interiors. Is this consistent with worldwide figures?

Or red with black interior and red deviated stitching and select trim painted exterior color. Either would be great....

Can someone tell me why black interior is so overwhelming popular in porsche? Black, it's fine, no issues with it, but what makes it so much more common than the other interiors?

becasue it goes with any exterior color...

As for Red or Yellow...my wife probably would ask what color of shirt you wear the most before she answers.

By the way, GR actually was my first choice and SY was my second when I ordered my 06 Cab. At the time, my wife has a red bimmer so I picked SY

What came first, the chicken or the egg?

The paradox, I think, is that most dealerships order black interiors, because they are "safe". So few buyers do a custom build. So we're stuck with the dealership's lack of creativity, and lack of ***** to be different. So, the dealership's decision process makes the black interior "popular" by default.
