I did test drive a carrera gts with PSE. I found the sound difference to be subtle at best. The problem with it is that one needs to have the windows down to appreciate it and that is hardly practical with Dubai's heat

Is the Cocoa Leather available in the 991?

I don't think it's available. It's definitely not a free option which include, black, grey, blue & biege. I am not willing to pay for exterior or interior color. I would much rather spend that money on options.

^Yeah, Cocoa Leather is usually an upgrade. About $3K IIRC.

Saw the Racing Yellow at RR IV last weekend.

It looks really good. Brighter than Speed Yellow. More like Ferrari Fly Yellow.

I would disagree with those who posted above and say a Blue interior would work nicely with the Yellow.
Think Sunoco colors. It does work.

Red with blue also works.

Thing is both combinations are unique. That is good. Not everyone wants a silver/black/grey car.

Red. If you're undecided, it's the safer color. It just seems to work so well on the 991. It reminds me of Guards Red on the 993. Can't go wrong. If you have *****, go with the yellow. But you're taking a risk, IMHO. In a couple of yrs yellow may go out of style-- maybe, who knows-- and then you're stuck. Red won't. So, you have to ask yourself, "what would Muddy Waters do?" Sorry, I meant, "do I feel lucky today?"

Finally a vote for blue interior, any other blue supporters out there?

I agree the contrast between yellow/blue or red/blue is ok. But the overwhelming vote seems to be that blue interior is just not popular and to be avoided.

But still the more difficult or significant debate is red vs. yellow exterior.

I answered that question for you: Red. Don't listen to anyone else.

Just kidding...

Ah, I changed my mind: Yellow. Pick Yellow.

Well there isn't a wrong answer, you are correct each time. Also red is perhaps the safer, more mainstream or classic color when compared to yellow.

^I don't think PCCB's were ever painted Speed Yellow. They never looked like they matched Speed Yellow cars, IMO.

That's another point. Standard brake calipers in the Carrera S are red and will match with guards red and contrast with yellow.

I wouldn't pay for ceramic brakes. Very expensive and completely unnecessary considering standard brakes do an excellent job.

Having just seen both cars at the Rennsport IV, IMHO the red on this car is stunning. The yellow is a much nicer yellow than SY, but for me it tended to give the car a bit of a Camaro look? I can also share that the grey/black interior in the yellow car that was there is gorgeous.

Just my .02
