Not based on my opinion. If all 911s had that interior, I wouldn't have bought one.

LOL...I guess we're not helping;-)

How about a new direction...white with black interior, white deviated stitching and white seat backs!

I get it, Tim; you really hate cocoa. I just thought your list warranted a counterpoint just as you offered one to No HTwo O. I really like cocoa (obviously, since I have it) and I know plenty of other folks who do as well. Fortunately, for all of us, 911's don't come just one way. TEHO.

I am torn between red and yellow on exterior color. Picked guards red but I still have time to finalize color Any suggestions thoughts? It seems no matter which I go with I will still want the other color.
i was at your position once i ordered my 2010 GT3, it was hard to choose, change and confirm. But i did the best choice and i am soooo happy with it.

It is just you who can decide, do u like Yellow? if not then Red

Mike,

I agree, my list probably did warrant a counterpoint, just as the comment by No HTwo O listing "multiple black" post did.

I didn't mean for my previous post to come off like it did. It's not the Porsche Cocoa that I don't like, I just don't like brown interior colors in any make or model of car. I really don't know why that is, but I have felt that way even as a kid, which, unfortunately, was quite a few years ago.

BTW, on another topic, you were 100% correct...... I love the PSE!

Do you still have the stock center muffler or have you replaced with by-pass pipes?

As far as the original topic in this thread, I did decide to go with guards red for exterior, and black interior. I will continue to be tempted by yellow. My build price is approx USD 113,500

Tim, your comment came off fine, I just thought I'd offer my own in my usual annoying style. Glad you're loving the PSE; knew you would. I still have the center muffler. For me the PSE is perfect as is and I can't imagine it being improved. Unless, maybe, I was to hear yours.......

I saw both those cars in person at Rennsport and I thought the yellow car was Speed Yellow..
The 991 shape looks great in these bright colors but the red car was just spectacular. If I were to choose an interior for either and did not want black, I'd go with dark grey or natural brown

So you are saying this new racing yellow looks just like the previous speed yellow? It isn't a lighter shade ? What interior did the red 991 have at rennsport?

The 991 at Rennsport was racing yellow and to me it has less of a mustard cast than speed yellow; you could say it was "lighter". The interior of the red 991 I saw at Rennsport was black. You've ordered your car already in GR/Black, right? Time to relax, stop worrying about colors, and anticipate it's arrival!

I would agree, a little less 'red' in it making the yellow appear slightly lighter but still very close to Speed Yellow IMHO.

You've made an excellent choice in choosing the red car .. it just looks spectacular on the 991's sharp creases in the rear .. honestly, when the SY and red car's were parked together, the yellow car just disappeared and the red car stole the show.

Thanks JPP, I feel a lot better about my choice after your comment.

Now today I added PSE option my final change, for $2300 and really wondering whether I am sensible to have done so, or an idiot to be paying that much for a VROOM VROOM!

adding PSE - an absolutely sensible choice. Well done.

Aural satisfaction...indulge frequently
