Not hardware, but software specific to the model.

Is it possible to reset the maintenance/service reminder with Thinkdiag? I've got a 991.1.

Anyone know what this configuration does for the joker button? Found it in Thinkdiag.

I used this setting on our macan to use the joker to turn sport+ on, nice on the highway or when you have to pull out into traffic real quickly.

80 (hex) would be the midpoint of a 00 to FF range.

To B Russ' question above about going from 10 to 12. In hex that is making a change of 1/128 of the value range (0.78% of the range). I suspect that is imperceptible.
I can't use FF it says value up to 255. Still can't write to it.

Try writing FE as the value. Sometimes Dec to hex implementations treat starting point 0 vs 1 differently. They should not … but they do.

i am trying to program -10 into my comfort entry/exit setting for seat back angle but it would not take FF6, any suggestion?

I am not sure what FF6 implies? 4086?

That field is Decimal not hex.

In the spreadsheet image here: (https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1384...l#post19523446)
you can see I set mine to 5 degrees back tilt on exit/door open (row 25/26)

I set actual the value to 5 (not negative 5), and that results in the seat tilting back on exit and forward on door close.

Try setting it to 5 initially and see if it that works in the proper direction .. if so then try 10 ... I do not know the maximum value/range of that field.

I actually want my seatback to tilt forward on exit and backward on entry. I tried 10 and the seatback tilt back upon exit so I wanted to try -10 to get it to tilt forward. The help text says to enter a 10'S hex value so -10 is FF6 but it didn't take it. It took -10 and Thinkdiag thought it wrote successfully but the read back is 0.

I still don’t understand FF6 being -10, wouldn’t it be -A or FFF6?

Another thought is that it interprets hex value to imply negative. Maybe a simple A with no sign?

edit: I will leave that thought above, but it is not correct .. the system would not be able to diferentiate hex from Dec for values 0-9, but for diagnostic reasons you should try to enter a -9 and see what help says to do.

be brave … see if it will take 350 as the value ….

Is there a way to bleed the coolant system with this tool? I ordered one the other day but haven't been able to set it up. If so, and someone could tell me which screen to navigate to, that would be great! Thanks!
