There are a number of people that are getting their pre-production units and hopefully we'll start to see some pics.
In the meantime, I am ramping up and building up some inventory. I will post a separate thread with the link to buy from after I get back from a short 3 day trip. The links exist... you only need to look

The photos below of the unit as it appears after opening from the box, and then installed. No magsafe charger yet in the photo because I failed to see Brock’s original post recommending a flush cig lighter adaptor; mine was too tall. Went ahead and ordered the one he has linked on Amazon from his original thread-will be here Friday! VERY excited to get it all up and running. Will post completed photos this weekend, along with better interior photos, as I just took these inside a dark garage. Triggered my OCD seeing all those dust specks…
I can’t thank brockbr enough; this absolutely solves my “where the f can I put my phone in my 911” dilemma! Anyone on the fence, buy it now! THANK YOU!

Update with the MagSafe charger installed. Important tip: I had a hell of a time trying to fit the wire in when installing the mount. Couldn’t figure out what the hell was going on. Needed to flip the flush mount USB C cig adaptor so that the usb-c port was positioned up top/North for the mount to slide on. Bottom/South would not allow the mount to snap on. Look and works great now:

Another huge thank you to @brockbr for his phenomenal 3D printed cradle! I have a 718 GT4 and asked Brock to see if it would fit. And luckily it fits perfectly!
Step 1: Gather your items...low profile cig adapter, Apple Magsafe, CarlinKit, and most importantly, the wireless cradle
Step 2: Feed the Magsafe wires through and secure with zip tie or velcro within the cradle
Step 3: Insert low profile cig lighter with the USB-C at the top! If USB-C is at the bottom, it makes it harder to organize the cables into holder
Step 4: Insert into ash-tray
Very flush job!
Seamless integration
I have a iPhone 14 Pro, if you have it sit straight up, it does hit your forearm when shifting
if turned 180 degrees, it does help somewhat, however, you will see from my next photo it hits my arm when driving
Horizontal orientation hits your arm. However, the solution is to use the up/down orientation, but tilt the phone a few degrees to the right. Helps a bit, but having the ability to wirelessly charge with a plug and play unit is priceless!
Once again, @brockbr you did a wonderful job and found a solution I have been looking for since I got my car.

Little bit of an update...
I left for vacation 9/24 - I live in Bonita Springs, FL - If that sounds familiar that's because hurricane Ian decided we needed a thrashing. We were gone during the storm, and our excellent neighbors were gracious enough to put our storm shutters up. So the family/house/911 are all safe. However, we have a lot of friends who didn't fare so well - Some lost houses, cars (I have a pic of a flooded 911 + 25th Anniversary Boxster in the same garage :/ ) and some lost everything they owned. Yes - most of it was insured, but it's definitely a gut punch to see all of that just... gone.
Anyway - after some cleanup I'm back to production.
Some of you received an email from me about test parts and replacements. Once I've verified all of those are good and working properly, I'll release the v2 for sale.

I just got my updated mount. A few thoughts.
1. The fit and finish is much better than the first few models. It's outstanding now.
2. Installation tips. Make sure you use a zip tie to gather all of the cord underneath the mount, otherwise the cord moves and prevents the mount from seating flush. The USB adapter has two inputs. I had better luck plugging the cord into the input closest to the shifter (more height for the plug). If it's not going in, check that nothing is in the way.
When this gets released for sale, don't hesitate to buy it.

Great tips from the one's who said to put the USB-C at the top position. I removed my mount to do some spring cleaning and for the life of me couldn't figure out why it would not go back in. Turns out I was using the bottom jack, so when I read the advice here I put it on top and bingo! I guess I had a brain fart and didn't remember which jack I was using the first time I installed the mount.

Can anybody who has installed one of these please post a link to the low profile 12v charging plug that you’re using. I purchased a “low profile” unit and it still sits proud of the receptacle but a few millimeters.
